After several years, popped this movie back on to watch and really rather enjoyed it. Is overlooked all things considered, but it's an enjoyable, if not exactly memorable, comedy film. Duchovny and Orlando Jones had some nice back and forth and a fair number of the jokes were good. Also, Randy from My Name is Earl lost a lot of weight between this movie and that series.
Anyone else remember this movie and have thoughts on it?

Very enjoyable film, really well cast too. For some reason this always cracks me up. Jones really did get some of the best lines in the movie. Also, it is one of those where it feels slightly as part of its time frame. The music, the way it's shot and the like do remind me of the period really quite well, even if there's only hints of it as opposed to being hit by it constantly.

Duchovny is fantastic in it. Between watching this and the more humorous X-Files episodes I wish he did more comedy.
Also didn't notice the Sarah Silverman cameo until the fifth or sixth time I'd seen it.
I always bust out laughing at Ackroyd's delivery of the "fuzzy no-nosed chimp" line.
And yeah, Julianne Moore looked great.
