I miss that channel so much. There was this cover band they kept posting called Rasputin's Vision and I would absolutely kill to hear that awful shit again. Oh God, that was like the GiivaSunner Flintstones meme except terrible. There's a bunch of quality wrestling stuff lost on YouTube around that time period because of copyright strikes. I used to waste so much time in the YouTube wrestling community back then. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RY3ncrYxZ5MONE OF THEM IS STILL UP. MY LIFE.

Nothing wrong with the song, but "Big Time" for Wrestlemania 22 was just random as hell. Plus, it didn't seem to fit much of what was going on leading up or any specific feud. It also didn't help that a different song titled "Big Time" was used as a theme at 21.
Considering the main event for the show, and using the INSANELY awesome "The End Is Near" leading into and recapping it, why they used some skippy remix of "Sweet Home Alabama" for Armageddon 2000 is beyond me.

Some of the "unfitting themes" are used because of the city they are in, not the event, and thus actually fit.

SHUTCHERMOUF! "Smooth" was amazing! Not a bad song. But......man, not for him. Most suited for a much different character.

WWE somehow thought this Dan Severn knockoff-sounding theme would be appropriate for, at one point or another, Scotty Goldman, Alicia Foxx, and Tamina Snuka. Pretty sure I used that for a CAW in a recent WWE 2K game. And that was the tune I liked the most. Man, those games have atrocious original theme music.

I'm fairly certain it's popped up in CAW modes going as far back as the late '90s. It got a lot of use in FCW as well, IIRC.

Be a Star by Kevin Rudolph at SummerSlam, I think 2012.
I think All Summer Long is one of the best examples. Plus, it was for Backlash in April.

Marcus Cor Von and Elijah Burke should have switched themes.

Billy Kidman's "You Can Run" theme is the first one that comes to mind. Not a terrible theme but didn't match him at all.
AJ Styles' theme is kinda the same way...

Not for events, but overtime Sexy Boy and Break The Walls Down became very unfitting. However, they were so iconic changing them was pointless. Unfitting? You're crazy! Well... lazy eye boy anyways.
