IntroThat music and voiceover creeped me the hell out way back when. And it starts airing on Sci-Fi this Monday.

Yes, I remember that show. The first episode that I watched was one about an old guy who terrorized kids on Halloween. Turns out the table was turned on him by some real monsters.
I thought it was a good show.

It's back?! I remember this show being REALLY cool as a kid. I can't wait. I'll most likely be disappointed like everything else I liked as a kid.

I thought it was a good show. That's the episode most people remember for some odd reason, I've always asked friends about the show and if they do remember it they always bring that episode up....well that or Farmer's Daughter. God the opening credits are creepy... I know this is a far shot but if no one remembers it here then I'll just give up: Does anybody remember a show similar too "Darkside" that had an intro with a monster family watching tv.....I think it came on WGN. That and Monstervision.......god I miss Monstervision. That needs an appreciation thread.

Was there one episode where these two guys hated and were really competitive with each other, culminating in a poker game where they bet their fingers on each hand, and the other guy sliced them off with a cleaver when they lost a hand. Eventually, they both lost all of their extremeties. If this is that show you are my hero, because I have been trying to figure out where I saw that for ages (I saw it when I was 10 or so).

Was it called Monsters? Hmmm. The only episode I remember was when a guy was sent to a Mexican prison and was being an ass to his cellmate an old native whi I think was able to melt into goo and melted the white guy.....the show ended with the old man wearing the white guys glasses.

Was a great show for being a non cable show. But my heart belongs to Tales from the crypt.

Good show, it was given the "Graveyard shift" a few years back.
I prefer Crypt though

I watched that Monsters series as well. I like stuff like that. When I saw the Tales from the Darkside movie I thought that it was pretty bad.
After it had been released on video there was a local small town theater that showed it on Halloween night at a discounted price. So I sat in their with a bunch of kids and watched the movie.
Maybe I thought it wasn't that good because I was surrounded by loud kids, but I thought that it didn't really capture the spirit of the series.

It was originally gonna be Creepshow 3, but they ultimately made TFTD.

The movie wasn't that bad.....if I recall it had the guy from the New York Dolls, Deberoh Harry, Ajax from the Warriors, Christian Slater, the middle Lawrence brother, Steve Buscemi, the man William Hickey, Julliene Moore and Rae Dawn Chong.........it was awesome for the cast alone.
