Of course if your density is less than or equal to the density of water. That's infinitely creepier. Someone really dropped the ball there.

If it wasn't for his bad teeth, there's really nothing scary about that clown.

i just realized that if you take away the hair....and the face....just leave the skull and peel away the paint.....i think that pennywise is actually a peanut. an evil, evil peanut. i'm sure peanuts give some folks gas....gas floats.....that's probably why stuff floats down there....
....i'm so intellectual when i'm tired.

Take away the hair, the teeth, the nose, the paint, and the clown suit, and what are you left with? Tim Curry. Tim Curry floats. Down there.

Interesting fact: In the book, Beth has sex with all the other kids when they're lost in the sewers.
10 year olds, dude.

I hope that idea was scrapped as I heard about it about a year or two ago. By the way, this movie scared the shit out of me as a kid and still creeps me out. I had a sort of panic attack a few days later thinking about it.

If it wasn't for his bad teeth, there's really nothing scary about that clown. you forgot the hair, thenose, the makeup, the clothes, everything about clowns are scary, and this is one of my favorite movies even though it has a scary scary clown in it (in fact this is why I'm afraid of clowns today)

Great flick
Was so happy when I got this dvd imported from America (At the time, UK didn't have a DVD release)
Cheesy/Funny in parts, spooky in others, 100% class

The kids are 11 in the book, but they do look older in the film, maybe they felt it was wrong having such young people eaten.
