Man,Seth and Dean busted each other every week and Reigns spent his ass resting at home. What makes then think people wanna cheer the guy that did nothing the last month. Same logic behind the Royal Rumble...Reigns walking off instead of being wheeled off before making the BIG HEROIC COMEBACK made him look like such a chump.

I don't get this Reigns thing at all. Anyone who has watched Raw the last two years knows there is zero way Rollins is not leaving Battleground as champion. Rollins is the present and future of WWE like HHH in 2002 was.

Must be some sort of bizarro HHH who lost non-title matches all the time.

I'd be 100% with this IF there weren't a looming brand split.
However, they are dumb, so I could easily see Galactic Champion Reigns getting like ten weekly hours of TV time.

Well the fact Sheamus was champion last year, and recalling half the results of Mania this year should be enough evidence that there's no guarantee you can know what they're going to do, regardless of how little sense it makes in the end.

Rollins and Ambrose are double pinning him to spilt the belts. Romans superman push will resume in the fall but he's spending a month or two on the naughty step as a message to WWEs critics and to show the locker room that no one gets special treatment.

If he does, he'll be a four time champ. I even like Roman, but that's nuts.

Honestly, I think it will end that way. Even with Wellness issues having been a factor, I see Roman as the top guy on his return, and the company hyping it as a redemption story.
Which will put them in deep doo-doo from a PR standpoint, as a result. This company clearly doesn't grasp the big picture.

If he did, it would send a poor message to the locker room that this guy can get popped for wellness and get rewarded with a title run. Honestly, Roman's entire push sends a bad message to the locker room. "Here, this guy has no credentials at all really, the crowd hates his guts, there's no evidence at all he does anything positive for business, he's shaky in the ring, he's bad on the mic, but he has better genes than those of you like Dolph Ziggler who've been busting your ass for a decade and connected with the crowd, so he headlines back to back WrestleManias." And yeah, there's the whole, "Morale's good because people backstage like Reigns," thing that goes around sometimes, and maybe he really is an awfully nice guy, but I'm sure there's plenty of dissatisfaction about the whole matter that no one's dumb enough to voice.

I expect some sort of f*** finish to explain why a new world title needs to be made. Like Both Dean and Seth pin Roman, or something else like that. I think this is most likely. I wish they hadn't done that finish last week on Raw, that would have been a decent finish knowing that they'd have to split the titles between brands. Doing it the week before a PPV makes no sense, and seems goofy as shit, especially since there was no ramifications that came off of it. But as far as Roman regaining it... man, nothing would indicate that WWE just doesn't get it more that that. So I put it at about 40% happening.

I hope not.
Any of these guys winning means I lose as a viewer but it would be worse for everyone if Reigns gets it back after coming back from suspension. I'm just hoping this is the final match between these three boring asses. If you like them that's cool but I think each one is about as entertaining as watching an evening of C-Span.
Back to the original topic...Again hopefully not. Reigns sucks so bad I actually long for the days of 1 year Cena reigns. That is sad:(

Daniel Bryan and Mick Foley are with him on three WWE Championship reigns but only had it for a total of 65 days and 47 days respectively. Roman has already had it for a combined 118 days.

What a dismissive summary of his push. The real message being sent is that even a monster push doesn't mean you aren't subject to the bullshit whims of creative. It's not like Reigns has never "connected with the crowd"; this has been discussed countless times. If he starts to get over with a certain persona and then has it pulled out from under him, what is he supposed to do? I mean, "no evidence at all he does anything positive for the business"? C'mon haha EDIT: typo

His second and third reign should have been one reign. The whole "one vs all" thing from the Rumble was the stupidest thing they could have done. He should have gone to WrestleMania as champion, having a title defense against Triple H. Nearly everything could have played out exactly the same with just that minor tweak. Triple H wins the Rumble, last eliminating Ambrose Fastlane triple threat is for title, not contendership. Roadblock main event is for WrestleMania contendership, not title.

I would love to hear Vince's grand vision for how he thinks Roman is salvageable as a babyface (at least for the next year or so). He's been given preferential treatment left and right and then gets popped with a wellness violation. Now he's coming right back in at the top. What about any of that is heroic?
Even if you look at it from a purely kayfabe standpoint. You can make a case that he hasn't been screwed at all. He won his first Rumble by having Kane and Big Show eliminate the field and then practically eliminate themselves. Then he lost Brock Lesnar's title for him by losing to Seth after a perfectly legal Money in the Bank cash in. He lost his first title by a perfectly legitimate Money in the Bank cash in from Sheamus. Sure he got screwed at TLC from Sheamus' buddies, but cry me a f***ing river you baby. Have you ever seen wrestling before? That's happened to everyone. Then he wins the title and has to defend it in the Rumble. Sure that's not exactly fair, but then he forfeits any sympathy by leaving after a beatdown in the middle of the match for a 30 minute rest. Its the f***ing Royal Rumble. You weren't the only one who was getting beat on by a ton of different people. Then he is given another opportunity to win the belt at Wrestlemania (and misses most of the lead up because he got beat up again - just like everyone else had). Then he wins the title. Then he had a brutal feud with AJ Styles where AJ beat him twice in a match, only for Roman to beat him on the third try. Then in the rematch his cousins saved him from losing the title. Finally, he loses the title to Seth Rollins clean as a sheet. Then he gets popped for drugs.
What an epic crybaby loser. How could anyone cheer for that character?
