Wasn't as bad as I feared but no-where near as good as I expected. I'd give it a low 'meh'.

Am I the only one who loved this movie?? I didn't love it, but I thought it was plenty watchable which is a lot more than I can say for Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, or Suicide Squad. Randomly decided to give it another go while it's still in theaters. Only guy in here. Legit private screening improves things a bunch. When I went to see Thor: Ragnarok, I was the only person there. And being the only person there is a pretty damn amazing experience. Same night I saw Justice League me and my brother were the only ones in the theater for Ragnarok. Pretty much think I'd have been a lot harder on that movie if I hadn't been able to talk through the whole thing.

I had fun with it. Not going to be a highly memorable superhero movie but I enjoyed bits of it. There were some bits I could have lived without like the somehow too high amount of WW ass shots. Like, if they needed a backshot, fine, but there was an almost full on upskirt that...well, they could have shot that ANYWHERE else and would have been fine for the scene. It did LOOK good, though, so I give it big props there. Yeah, for as much as Wonder Woman has been heralded as a victory in the progressive movement a lot of time was spent focused on her ass while Aquaman was wearing a full body-suit. It's almost as though Joss Whedon WASN'T the feminist hero he claimed to be for all those years....

I think at the end of the day that's what's so odd about JL. After the chaotic making of the film, after the completely off the rails insanity of B vs. S, when it comes down to it Justice League was basically a routine potboiler of a bunch of heroes banding together to fight a cheesy bad guy. It was like a movie straight out of the mid 1990s.
This is likely going to finish with about half of what Avengers did at the worldwide box office, if that. And it will also make less money than Thor: Ragnarok. Think about that. If someone told you 25 years ago that a Thor sequel would make significantly more money than a Justice League movie you wouldn't believe it at first, and then if you did believe it you'd wonder how various Warner Bros. executives hadn't been fired.

I just saw it earlier this morning. I actually was more entertained by this than The Last Jedi to be honest. It was fun to watch, and managed to tell its story without twenty plot holes this time.

Just heard something about this movie...
did they seriously change the Motherboxes to terraforming McGuffins... does Goyer/Snyder seriously only have 1 idea for a global threat... because that is the same damned thing they used for Man of Steel.

I didn't really think of Man of Steel with that but it did remind me a whole hell of a lot of the scenes of people running from Parallax and Ego.

I recently read an early version of the script for Justice League 2, in which Darkseid threatens the Earth with his newly built DEATH STAR!
