He would be great on Smackdown to add some more depth to that roster. Whats even going on with that situation? Are they just keeping him at home until his contract expires?

I miss the hell out of Ryback. Always loved the dude. And he went out immediately following one of his better matches against Kalisto.

I do. Even taking carelessness into account, I'd rather have him on TV than quite a few guys on the main roster AND in NXT

It's safe to say that Ryback would definitely be a welcome addition to the Smackdown roster, simply for depth reasons. It's becoming clear that the brunt of former Superstars returning & NXT callups will end up on Smackdown.

Eh. I could take him or leave him to be honest. I've always been a fan of his character work, but in-ring I don't miss him at all.

There is literally no one on either roster I would prefer losing screen time in favor of him. Ryback is insta-groan.

Ryback could have easily been inserted in that 6 Pack challenge and be fine.

I wish we had gotten more from the Ryback heel run we were getting, but then again it seemed like he was channeling all of his real life frustrations along the way.

It sucked that he left after quite possibly his best performance ever at Payback. Plus, he basically saved Kalisto's life that night.

I am a card-carrying Ryback mark to the point that the first WWE t-shirt I bought in eight years was a Hungry t-shirt. But it's quite hilarious that Ryback was probably the best he'd ever been when he left. He was having better matches, covered for a botch for Kalisto (which is the opposite way that it usually went in his case because much as I love the big lug, he was sloppy). The other issue is that half of his best stuff at the point was character work which will have pissed management off, like wearing that 'Pre-Show Stopper' belt.
Of course the extra layer of irony there is that he was doing some of his best work by breaking the fourth wall to take shots at CM Punk, when of course, CM Punk's best WWE work came when he was breaking the fourth wall to the point of even using that phrase on camera.
I love Ryback, and I miss him, and if a British indie ends up booking him they can consider two tickets sold.

Ryback is keeping himself at home until his contract expires as the WWE were jobbing him out to weaken his hand in negotiations with them, he's used that time to get medical treatment he's been delaying to keep working for the WWE's benefit. For someone who likes to take digs at Punk whenever he can, he sure seems to have learned from his example.

I would be down for Ryback to return as AJ's lackey. I think they would be hilarious together.
