Kind of an extension of the thread we have about wrestlers. How about other celebrities who similarly irked you on a personal level?

I don't have any. There's been plenty of celebrities who have done things I disagree with, but if they're irking me on a personal level then I'm getting too worked up over someone I likely don't even know.

Not really irked or anything, but Elijah Wood accidentally gave me a slight black eye in 2005. He was King of the Bacchus parade at Mardi Gras and beaned me in the face with a bag of beads.

John Ratzenberger comes to my job sometimes. A few years ago, a manager that was there (he's not there anymore), was more interested in his being a celebrity, than being a customer. He didn't seem impressed by it, so I thought he might be mean to me, but he thanked me for being nice to him.

Justin Timberlake... Mostly because of his haircut in N'sync. Dude had a bowl of Ramen noodles on his head.

Only one - Jenny McCarthy and her autism horse shit. Autism is an issue I take very personally and the nonsense she spews about it repulses me.

My brother's former band was supposed to headline a club on 6th St. in Austin one time, but Perry Farrell came in the night of the show and paid the owner to cancel the gig and kick everyone out so he could have a private party.
Katy Perry once called a female acquaintance of mine ugly on Twitter.

I've always hated Glenn Hoddle after his comments about disabled people.

Chi McBride for being a greedy a-hole and pestering me to order him this high-end Pinot Noir instead of saving said allocations for others people who didn't have such an ego....when I told him I had two bottles saved for another customer, he flipped and said that he didn't care and he had the money to buy them RIGHT NOW. Obviously my star-struck superiors caved in and sold them to him.
Also Tawny Kitaen for being a drunk mess in Newport Beach and telling me that she's quit drinking.

Got a proper bollocking from Samantha Fox as she thought I was wasted when in reality I had a food poisoning and f***ed up knee. Though she later apologized, but still.
KT Tunstall tried to haggle the price when buying a guitar from me. That was annoying.

Only one - Jenny McCarthy and her autism horse shit. Autism is an issue I take very personally and the nonsense she spews about it repulses me. Yep. I teach intro biology to non-biology majors (i.e., the kind of person more apt to buy this bullshit) and spend some time every semester explaining why she is incredibly wrong. I'm hoping to prevent any of my students from being dumb enough to follow her dumb ideas. Just to be clear: 1) The guy she keeps quoting has been proven to have made it all up. He even got into legal trouble for it (getting funding based on falsified data is fraud, in the event you did not know). 2) No one rejected his ideas out of hand. There was plenty of money to be made if he was right and many people tested his hypothesis independently. They all disproved his theory because they DIDN'T falsify their results. 3) The science behind the anti-vax movement doesn't make sense. They simply don't use the materials they claim anymore and have not for decades. Even if vaccinations in the distant past had those compounds and theoretically were potentially capable of inducing autism, no vaccination has used that stuff in decades. Your little Hunter and Cyndi are safe. 4) Part of the protection that vaccinations offer is herd immunity, something that is lost when idiots don't protect their children from measles or whooping cough. It makes us all more vulnerable.

Did you brother's band get paid anything? I don't recall, but given how pissed he and his mates were at the time, I'm thinking not.

I know someone who was "do you know who we are'd" at a restaurant by someone from Five for Fighting.

I've told my stories about Lenny Henry, a U.K. Celebrity many times here. Let's just say he's a c***.
Sebastian Coe is a prick. My Dad once refused him entrance to a private building that was reserved for members of the Horse Racing club. He started saying he should be allowed in there too as he was famous and even said the immortal line "do you know who I am?". My dad told him to f*** off. Or something like that, can't remember the exact story.

I've always hated Glenn Hoddle after his comments about disabled people. He used to come into the cinema where I worked. He came in about once a month and was a really nice guy. He was the England Manager at the time so he was mobbed by people asking for his autograph but he would always take the time to sign and chat to the people. I knew he had some beliefs that were a bit "different" (that's about all I'll say as I don't want to get into religious chats) but he always came across like a really down to earth, nice guy. Then he made those comments. Knob.
