That was the perfect way to introduce American Alpha to the non NXT watching public. They hit all their major spots, and got to show exactly what they can do.
A great match all around.

Awesome match. On a side note, I can't help but feel a little sorry for the Vaudevillains. The Simon Gotch incident did them no favors either I'd imagine.

They're weren't really doing great even before that. That said, just by sheer lack of numbers on the heel side of the division, they'll have to start picking up some more wins again eventually.

The Vaudevillains honestly looked better in defeat than the Shining Stars did in victory against Pokemon Go (Re-dacted) R-Truth. Always better for a 'game' tag team to job than a pushover team that doesn't even try to win.
For the moment American Alpha needs to establish their dominance in the absence of any tag champs to fight against, and the Vaudevillains where the last team to seriously challenge New Day for the titles that are on the Smackdown roster. They were a good debut for AA, I'm just at a loss as to where Gable/Jordan go from here since that is arguably their biggest challenge on Smackdown Live aside from a team of two singles' heels.

Maybe Bray and Rowan become a tag team.

I love how there's an even amount of face and heel teams but the face teams are way OP compared to the heel teams unless Bray & Rowan (maybe Harper returns) restart the Family.

If they ain't gonna be Brooklyn hipsters or time travelers, scrap the idea and move English on to something else.

Best case scenario has him being a possible return at the end of the month, but it'll probably be another month or two after that.

It was an OK match, hopefully they trade wins because no team can afford to look weak right now with new belts on the way. That crowd last night was just terrible considering the show was pretty decent.

Could always have him show up at Summerslam to be around whatever Bray is doing. That, or start some vignettes of him at the compound or something

I do wish they had used legit jobbers, rather then The Vaudevillians because like alot of others have said, the established teams need credibility right now while the division is being build. Really shouldn't be squashing one of only a handful of legit teams on the roster.

The supposed tag titles and women's title can't arrive soon enough.

It was a good match and I'm glad the crowd started to get into it near the end. It's so weird to see American Alpha doing their thing without the Full Sail crowd going nuts for them. I see good things in their future though, those guys are just too good.

I want all the best for both of them, though. Definitely my favorite tag team in ages.

Bit of a waste of the Vaudvillains. AA could have done the same spots to jobbers instead and actually build up a few week feud with a team that were, you know, number one contenders for the tag belts a few months back.
