That feud was about as effective as Mario vs 1 million goombas.

I don't know what was sadder: Tag shot due to forgotten and given away feast or fired briefcase OR the forgotten Legends/TV title being repurposed again as the KOTM championship and still being used! It gets even better. They actually carried this feud onto the GFW Amped tapings we will likely never see, and one of the key storylines throughout the tapings was that TNA had sent a wrestler to participate in their tournament to crown the first GFW World champion, and this person vowed that he would bring the GFW World title to Dixie's office in Orlando. Dixie's representative in the GFW World title tournament? Well, let's just say that this Glorious person still wrestles on Wednesday nights. Tis sounded Off The Chain.

You know what? This feud blew chunks and GFW on the whole is an absolute wash, but let's think for a second about everything Jeff actually gained from this. Jeff was, until Slammiversary 2015, still part owner in TNA. He sold his worthless share of an unprofitable company back to Dixie for actual cash money dollars, and to sweeten the deal of making him actually loosen up his part of the company, Dixie let him: a) come in to talk up his promotion and advertise for free on Impact b) win a glorified vanity title just to get one last run c) be the focal point of one of TNA's biggest shows of the year d) run an invasion angle where he showed off his 'roster', which was supposed to be better than it was before John Gaburick had his shitty way
Nothing may have come of GFW's TV tapings, but he still got the world from Dixie just as a sweetener to convince him to sell her his part of the company. He got a whole shitton of something for nothing, and his problems and gold bar pyramid scheme aside, Dixie ended up out not only actual money to get him and his roster on her show, but she got in deep shit with Destination America for keeping the Jarrett thing a surprise and letting him advertise his own, not-on-DA company for free.

How did Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett end up in TNA when they started out on the GFW side?

That feud was about as effective as Mario vs 1 million goombas. And Mario just kicked a Koopa shell at them

That feud/crossover was even lamer than Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. That whole storyline was more one-sided than the WWF against the Alliance in 2001. And that's saying a lot.

How did Trevor Lee and Andrew Everett end up in TNA when they started out on the GFW side? Everett never actually participated in the GFW Invasion. He just debuted in an Ultimate X match at Bound for Glory with no reference to his GFW status. Trevor Lee and Brian Meyers got a rematch clause for the tag team titles. Weeks later, Helms revealed Lee as his protege and they took the X title from Tigre Uno.
