I bet some of you like this f*** is lying Truth was never champ well he was for a month. Check it out and get back to me
Ok you back cool, so who was a shittier champion? I decided to go opposite ends of the spectrum just because Dean had the title for a full year and did nothing with it while Truth held the title one month and i'm pretty sure people forgot about it.
Let's talk about it.

As an Ambrose fan I have to say Ambrose. As hot as the Shield's push were, Ambrose did not elevate the US Title. Before he even won the belt, he was pushed to a point where he was "too good" for the US Title, due to the Shield being a "main event" level act, everyone he was fighting were also above the belt, and everyone who should've been competing for the belt (actual midcard guys) were way beneath him.

Truth easily.
Ambrose may have barely retained the title, but he still had matches where he successfully retained. R-Truth lost on his first and only defense.

There was nothing really wrong with Truth getting the belt, since he had some decent momentum going at the time, but they really killed him dead having him up and drop the thing as anticlimactically as he did just to put over the concept of Fatal 4 Way as a PPV for those too dumb to understand it.

I legit forgot Truth had the belt at one time when I read this thread, only to realize he was the US Champion at a house show I went to in 2010.
So I guess he gets the nod because I couldn't even remember it.

All I remember about Dean Ambrose's reign was Roman Reigns razzing him for never defending it, as if the US Title operated under some kind of honor system where the champion has to find and schedule his own challengers. I don't remember R-truth's at all. Ambrose was worse.

Truth, because he and Bret Hart were sandwiched in between Miz's 2 reigns. So Truth is worse than Ambrose, because Miz should have just kept the title the entire time.

Ambrose had 14 title defenses on screen in his year long title reign. In Ambrose's defenses he beat Kofi, Ziggler twice, Del Rio, Ryback and Axel clean. Truth only not only lost the belt in 21 days, that match he lost was his only defense and he lost clean.
Obviously Truth was the shitter champion. Forgettable.

Man there have been some awful title runs over the past decade.
Remember Edge having FOUR world title runs between November and April one time?

The late 2000s and early 10s were an awful time for US title reigns. Remember when Jack Swagger was US champion? What about Mr. Kennedy? No? Finlay?

Better yet, how could they screw up Jack Swagger as US champion? Every gimmick the dude has ever had is meant to be a great US champ, but instead he manages to be a transitional champ from ZACK RYDER to SANTINO.

The Shield were the biggest thing in wrestling at the time, so Ambrose having gold made sense.
Everything R-Truth has done, that one heel turn aside, has been a forgettable waste of time. No contest.

Truth for me because at less I can remember Ambrose with the title. Yeah, Ambrose didn't defend it much but at less I remember it.

Man, I forgot about Reigns and Rollins being tag champs.
I like Ambrose, but I'm going to say him.
