3 amazing matches in women/tag/main, two MOTYC for me out of them in Tag Title Match and Joe/Nakamura. Missed Aries/Jose but heard it was good, GTS, Roode vs Cien being an absolute spectacle of Dat entrance and a good match etc.
I'm not going to count SS out yet as on paper Balor/Rollins, Ziggler/Ambrose, Cena/AJ and Sasha/Charlotte can all be MOTYC if done right. And I think Enzo and Cass vs JeriKO is going to be insanely fun

Seeing murk in the thread title always makes me laugh. If it had been "Takeover is gonna body Summerslam isn't it", I would've thrown a chair through a window. Don't f*** around and get bodied.

No. Takeover was very good but this is a strong card for Summer. It'll be the first full wrestling show (other than Takeover) I have watched since the Levesques stopped me watching from Mania 30. Intriguing matches and great guys being showcased.
Hopefully.

Summerslam has a very solid card, so it'll be close. The only negative would be it going too long, but if they pace things right, runtime won't be an issue.

And again, there's no concert scheduled for SummerSlam itself. LIES! The world DEMANDS MGK and Flo Rida!

Personally thought this Takeover was one of the weaker ones. The last three matches were pretty good, loved the tag match minus the ending, Asuka/Bayley was solid and Joe/Nakamura did not disappoint, but the first three matches were fairly weak(Aries/Jose being by far the best of them).
Summerslam has a very strong card with some great potential matches all across the card. I think it has a shot of being better than Takeover if done correctly, which is saying a lot since I almost always prefer the Takeovers to the main roster PPVs.

On most occasions this would be true, but this Takeover is a step behind its usual quality and Summerslam is looking much better than it usually does.

I think Summerslam is going to kick ass and the outcomes are much less predictable, so that's a big boost.

Takeover wasn't that great. It was pretty good though. Solid matches. I thought the tag title match was the only truly blowaway match.
Joe/Nak was in like second gear forever. Kicked up a bit for like 3 minutes and ended.
Cena/AJ, Orton/Brock and the two world title matches all have big potential to be awesome.

Since "6 HOURS" seems like a big point of contention, could just not watch the pre show, which is clearly meant for people who can not get enough WWE.

Takeover wasn't that great. It was pretty good though. Solid matches. I thought the tag title match was the only truly blowaway match. This is correct. We just saw one of the weaker NXT women's matches and Joe/Nak didn't have much of a rhythm to it. Hunter has to realize at some point that buying name talent will never be a substitute to actual storytelling.

Length will be a huge factor going against Summerslam, especially if it goes past 11pm EST. I'm watching TakeOver now since I chose to watch UFC202 last night instead, and it's really, really good. But as it's been said a couple of times in this thread, the Summerslam card looks way better than the WrestleMania 32 card did. Only thing that could stop Summerslam from being really good, aside from the aforementioned time factor, is if they make just the outright wrong decisions (see: "f*** you internet" decisions) like they did with the entire WrestleMania undercard.

I thought Takeover was great, I didnt get that "I stayed up for this?!" feeling that I usually do with main roster PPVs. Im excited for Summerslam, the card is stacked but the length is a worry, I find even with Mania there can be a lot of filler so hopefully pacing is good or its going to drag in.

I`m surprised some people thoughtthe Women's Match was wake,it was my second favourite Bayley match(behind the Sasha vs Bayley).

It was a good takeover show, but not excellent. NXT won handily against Summerslam last year but this year I think SS is gonna take it. I`m surprised some people thoughtthe Women's Match was wake,it was my second favourite Bayley match(behind the Sasha vs Bayley). Personally I rate it under both Sasha matches and the Horsewomen 4-way.

Summerslam is going to have 0 Bobby Roode entrances. How good could it be?

With as good as Mcgregor/Diaz was, I think UFC 202 already won the weekend going away.

Cena/AJ is going to be the best match of the weekend.
