I did not call him evil or abusive. I said he was an asshole and the way he acted with his children in the first episode was triggering TO ME. Mostly because of shit in my own past. Please don't put words in my mouth. Thank You. I was referring to all the people in the thread saying that. Not you. Or I'd have quoted you. You're welcome. I thought t your post was directed at the person who made the thread, which was me.

I was listening to the Australian comedian (and huge wrestling mark, particularly for Mick) Brendon Burns talking once about how he spent some time around Mick and his kids a few years back when he was starting stand-up. Burns said that Foley's kids treat Mick like shit.

Yeah... I made it as far as Mick pretending that he thought Noelle was pregnant.

I watched the first two episodes and decided that was enough for me.

I've seen a few episodes now and it just seems like they watched The Osbournes and Hogan Knows Best and copied certain aspects from each.
The over-bearing wife who drains the bank account through her various eccentricities. The gorgeous daughter who can't fart without her dad calling it febreze. She is being stalked by her father and no man will ever be good enough for her. The son who is almost pushed off the screen because the gorgeous daughter needs more screen time. The patriarch who can hardly walk and is suffering for years of abuse on his body (be it physical or chemical)

I'm three episodes in. I don't hate it, but I'm also a sucker for both Foley and reality TV. It's definitely not great, though.
I feel like all three boys deserve more screen time. They are the true stars. And Dan Barry. He's awesome, as well.

First 2 episodes were meh
Mick's off-commentary is funny at times, Hughie is a naturally funny dude, and Noelle has ginormous (fake) T&A. That's about it. Harmless meaningless reality TV

That's pretty terrible, if his kids treat him like shit. Some families just treat each other like shit and that's the way they are. I come from a mean family that argued and yelled at each other all the time.

Hopefully it's a show thing.

Is this a show I should avoid? Mick isn't really an all time favorite of mine, I'm not too familiar with Noelle, and I met Clown Guy at WM 29 Axxess, with Lesnar Guy. Of the 2, Lesnar Guy was way more friendly to fans. I watched the first one and I'm debating whether or not to watch anymore. For me personally the way he treats his kids is super triggering. I was expecting funny Foley antics I got none of that and it's actually tarnishing my view of Mick a lot. Really? People said the same about the E&C Show and it did improve after a few episodes. If he's being a dick in the 2nd one, then I can totally understand not wanting to watch. It sounds like he's super over-protective.

Because of things in my childhood stuff like that is hard for me to watch. That episode brought up some stuff I'd thought I'd dealt with.

I was slightly annoyed and I didn't like seeing her on the countdown shows so much when they were a thing. I've yet to watch but I get the feeling that probably the whole point of the series is to get Noelle over but I don't know why I should care yet.

Taking the show with a grain of salt since WWE's reality shows are horribly acted and blatantly fake. That said, his kids act like the biggest assholes on this show. Not like, little kids being little kids, more like actual fully grown jerks.
Also can't stand Frank. Not because he's dating Noelle. Just because he's ultra annoying.
