Stephanie McMahon, overseer of WWE creative since the early 2000s thought Lady Balls was a good title for a book that was designed to be a puff piece, something that could paint her as a serious businesswoman in an industry of carnies and cartoon characters like her father. If any proof was needed she has no creative instinct and absolutely did not in any way deserve the position she was given, this is it.

I wouldn't be shocked if they fabricated the "copyright issue" in order to make her to go with her second awful choice.

They hired a PR person just for Stephanie, I suspect they got wind of the LadyBalls thing late in the process and spent the past month going 'Nononononononononononononono' until it finally sank in that it's a horrible title for anything.

Now they might have to deal with an actual copyright issue due to the Lifetime network drama sharing a name with said second awful choice.

Lady Balls as the name of her book? She's truly Vince McMahons daughter

Why doesn't she call it something like Ruthless Aggression since she was the sort of GM embodiment of that era?
How about "20 Ways to Emasculate your employees with no blowback: The Stephanie McMahon story"?

That might be why Stephanie's first book, "My Daddy's Trial: More Catastrophic than 9/11", was shelved.

I guess "Self Made: with Daddy's company and money" was taken.

Are there like, Steph fans who are disappointed by this and already had the money stashed to buy a copy of Lady Balls? "I was gonna buy Lady Balls, but they changed the name to unREAL, it's so lame now"

Good. The whole thing just made her come off insecure and with a severe case of penis envy. Actually, that's pretty much how she's carried herself on TV for the past three years so it adds up.

I heard in light of this new copyright issue, they've decided to go in a new direction. Stephanie McMahon made it on her own (with her father's money) in a world dominated by men, balancing being a boss, a mother, and a spokeswoman, while still having time to stroke her own ego on national television. She is an inspiration and a marvel in the world of sports and entertainment, therefore the NEW title of her autobiography will be... Miss Marvel. Surely this will put an end to all the copyright hullabaloo.

With all this struggle to find a name, I imagine there will be a new chapter added to the book comparing Stephanie's struggle to find a name for the book to escaped slaves' struggles to follow the Underground Railroad to freedom.

I read the OP a good 3 times to make sure it wasn't wrestletaint.
Still not convinced my browser isn't lying to me.

Kept looking for kayfabe news, wrestletaint.gov, or some other joke identifier, but nope.
This is an actual f***ing thing.
I have no words.

Now I'm tempted to write a NaNoWriMo novel and give it a secondary title of "Lady Balls"
