Don't wrestle injured, it's that f***ing simple. Allow me to respectfully disagree.... You name me 5 wrestlers who aren't working a show without at least SOME KIND of injury and...well....we're gonna have an awful short show to watch. Nevermind the fact that while the "old guard" continue to have any kind of input in, oh, EVERYTHING there will never be a wrestler who steps up and refuses to work unless they have literally a body part hanging off their body. Hell, even a "newer generation" guy like Bryan had to be pushed out of the ring with a crowbar...and would likely jump to someplace like NJPW or back to ROH if they offered him a chance to work once his contract with the E is up. Is it a smart way for people to push forward with making a living? Probably not. People on message boards and whatnot may not like it...but if you think Vince or anybody else cares about our opinion on matters like this then I would LOVE to know what version of WWE you've been watching that lead you to that conclusion.

Some kind, sure, but Sasha's injury was bad enough that it was putting her on the shelf regardless. The injury was already being reported and she still wrestled like she had something to prove. I like Sasha a hell of a lot more than Charlotte, but the latter deserves no blame here.

Blame Charlotte sounds like the title of one of those WB sitcoms that failed after 6 weeks.
Leave the girl alone.

So...what I seem to be taking from all this is Sasha going out and busting her ass to put on the best show she can and, to my knowledge, doing so in a way that has yet to hurt a single person she's worked with (I admit I could be wrong...but I've never heard about her doing something that hurt a co-worker) and that's bad.
Charlotte on the other hand has botched spots time and time and time again...hurting people in the process (again, the botched spot in the corner early in the summerslam match is a great example of this. Yes, Sasha's back was hurting already apparently, but that doesn't just erase the fact that charlotte straight up botched whatever the hell it was she was trying to do in that spot and likely only made that injury worse) and is somehow given a pass.
Just trying to wrap my brain around it all ya know? Because in recent weeks I've watched this board bitch and bitch and bitch about the style Sasha wrestles...it's almost like the collective is turning on her. But that couldn't be it. Because anytime I've pointed out such things in the past (Punk/Bray/Reigns/Lesnar) I've been roundly shouted down and told no such thing ever happens.
Hmm. Weird.

Popular opinion does not equal a hivemind, get off of it. It's just the loudest or most frequent voices sharing an opinion that gets recognized as "all of you said this or that". Those voices and opinions shift. Different posters make up the popular opinion on any one subject at any one time. To my knowledge no one has said Sasha is dangerous to anyone else. It's about her hurting herself in damn near every big match. She's reckless with her own body and that's what posters are concerned with. Someone disagreeing with an opinion you have does not mean everyone else is in on some collective conspiracy.

Everything I've ever read or heard in interviews says the only day you're 100% in wrestling is the day before you start training and it's all down hill from there. Some periods are better than others but you're never 100% physically again. There's always some degree of pain or injuries and you just have to work through most of them or you won't be out there for more than a night at the time. Working with injuries is just a fact of life as a wrestler. That's why we hear about "taking some time off to deal with injuries". It means they got sick of all the little ones and need to heal them up a bit. There's always injuries, just hopefully none are bad enough to be worth complaining about or getting you removed from work.

Someone disagreeing with an opinion you have does not mean everyone else is in on some collective conspiracy. Those loud voices tend to be the growing louder and louder in general though.... Its not about people not liking the same people. I get that. But I find it odd as hell that a lot of the same people who were loving, oh...lets say....Roman...back when Shield was still together were suddenly starting "DIE ROMAN DIE!" threads as soon as started to get The Push. And then next thing you know? The guy who always the Third Most Popular guy in the Shield behind Mox & Black was getting MULTIPLE first page threads bitching about his push because...uhhh....reasons. Some of those threads started by the very people who were singing his praises not all that long before. Why did they turn? Ummmm....reasons? I guess?? It irks me. That's all. And a lot of why it irks me is because in the almost 10 years I've been frequenting this board (longer than that probably if you count lurking) I've seen a change. Maybe it speaks to a change in general in the habits of the audience, but all I know is this board used to be filled with hilarious photoshop threads and light hearted fare and that kind of thing (or maybe that's just MY rose colored glasses recollection)....now it's because SrsJericho levels of serious a lot of the time. And that's a drag. I still love coming here...I visit multiple times a day, whether to post or just read (mostly read)....The Raw threads are hilarious ways to make it through that 3 hour slog...the smackdown threads are quickly becoming the stuff of legend and awesomeness that ENHANCE the show in the wake of Brand Split 2.0...but it gets tedious sifting through post after post of negativity to find a nugget of interesting/funny/neat stuff sometimes. I know I'm ADDING to that discourse with my constant harping/sarcastic potshots on "Durrrrrr HIVEMIND"....I'm well aware of my hypocrisy. But, I'm an opinionated, sarcastic, cranky motherf***er who kicked cancers ass and gives exactly ZERO f***s. I will call them as I see them. BUT I will always try to keep those 'calls' within the confines of forum rules. Believe me...many has been the time I have erased a post or comment before I've submitted it strictly because it went to far and went straight into breaking at least 1 forum rule.

Sasha's style is the reason she came in hurt. Charlotte dropping her on that corner move was all Charlotte though.
Both are somewhat to blame. Sasha shouldn't have been wrestling if she was that hurt, and they shouldn't have even tried that spot if she was. Just work a basic match, sell your leg, lose to a figure 8 while fighting valiantly. No stupid risks, a simple match.
It was the second match on the card. No need for stupid, reckless spots. Especially when one of them is coming in hurt.
Charlotte hasn't hurt anyone else, as far as I know, so I don't think she's a careless worker - just an off night - and Sasha not being her regular self led to a lot of sloppy spots from both.
