I'll add another to this thread. Joey Styles was a horrible commentator. Corey Graves' "Oh my God" is far better than Joey Styles saying it. With Graves it doesn't sound forced at all, and he gets more emotion behind it.

Triple H is not the messiah, he does not book NXT, he does not book Smackdown, he doesn't train or assign characters to talent or even recruit guys or any of the things people point at like it's proof that things will be better. Anyone who seems to be doing a good job will be called a Triple H guy while people forget the failures, the people who made life a living hell for talent, abusive coaches and management whose investigations were basically just throwing talent to the wolves, which happened under Triple H's watch.
The only reason NXT is currently a super indie is because Triple H upped the costs of running developmental so much it needs to recoup some of that, which it's still failing to do, even with a massively increased touring schedule for talent where they don't pay them pay bonuses for shows. They wouldn't sell out shows with Big Green Bob vs Das Goalkeeper and they know it.
Hunter has been in the top 5 most powerful people in the WWE for the past decade and a half and has had Vince's ear since at least 1997, if he was going to be a positive influence, the post-attitude era period was the time to start, but instead we got what we got.

Bret Hart was solid, but that's about it. He had charisma more befitting a mailman This is making me laugh really hard. Now I'm picturing Bret "The Mailman" Hart coming down to ringside and giving one lucky kid at ringside their mail.

The Young Bucks are one of, if not the worst team in the last decade or so. Tanahashi vs. Okada at WK10 was nowhere near a five star match (check out their King of Pro Wrestling 2013 match for that) Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart both had better matches with Diesel than they ever did with each other. For most of his career, I didn't find the Undertaker entertaining. Kazuchika Okada isn't a top five wrestler in NJPW, let alone the world.

Ernest "The Cat" Miller was one of the best heels of the late 90s.

Mick Foley - Glorified Stuntman. Great at psychology and off-the-charts charisma, though.

I hated the Yes movement and pretty much everything about Daniel Bryan in the WWE since team Hell No.

I miss when you had a guy with no real ability but a great look just wreck guys. (Goldberg, Nikita Koloff, Ryback, etc.)
I like Titus and don't think he's that bad in the ring.

According to that envelope, that young man may already be a winner!" "After looking at his parents, according to his gene pool, he may already be a loser." "Will you stop it?!"

I now find Steve McMichael to be a better commentator than Larry Zbyszko was. This isn't that controversial at all. For all the Mongo criticisms, people at least acknowledged he tried hard and was super excited about the product. Zybszko just used any match to make himself the focal point at the cost of the action. Unless one finds his voice soothing, Larry brought nothing to the booth.

Mick Foley - Glorified Stuntman. Great at psychology and off-the-charts charisma, though. So...he's significantly more than a glorified stuntman.

Aldo Montoya wasn't a bad gimmick. If he was given a proper mask rather than a jockstrap to wear on his face, it might have worked as a decent mid-card role.

Paul heyman is a pure scumbag and seems to get a free pass were others get pulled on there handling of talent call Vince alot of things but the one thing he's done is every month that cheque clears in bank accounts. I'm one of the biggest ECW fans you'll find (Check my signature quote on FAN!), but not even I can deny that Heyman was a very scummy promoter. He was, however, a genius when it came to booking shows and helping wrestlers get over with fans.
