Lynn vs. Kid still holds up even with today's cruiserweight standard. This must've blown people's minds in 1991! This was, in my own opinion, the birth of the "indy darling." There hadn't been anything quite like it in the territory system and these two pretty much created it wholesale, especially in regards to Kid. And it was pretty much the start of cruiserweight divisions having actual merit, with the ones before them being little more than afterthoughts featuring either Mike Jackson, a Japanese worker on loan or some promoter's son as the champ, with very little in the way of an actual division beyond that.

The closest thing to a Holy Grail is the Buddy Rogers vs. Ric Flair footage (keyword: footage, since the full match was lost and it's the only footage of Flair/Rogers that ever was found.) Since it isn't the complete match, I'm pretty sure it's the footage WWE bought from a private collector a year or so ago. That's disappointing, I've been looking for the Flair/Rogers match for years. What they showed was good. Both guys selling like heels. Then my laptop died. Also saw Antonio Inoki vs. Stan Hansen (grind it out Calgary style technical match).

The Global Warming Rock-HHH-Lesnar match is great, really hope it contains the post-match schnanigans where Trips convinces Rock to do the people's elbow.

Fun fact: According to Justin Credible, Scott did his time in ECW for free because he just wanted to be there.
Shane Douglas wasn't cool with it and had him kicked out of ECW in retaliation for the bullshit Hall pulled on him in the WWF.

Douglas had Hall kicked out when Hall was visiting Credible at a Florida ECW house show in 1998. By the time Hall actually wrestled in ECW in 2000, Douglas was in WCW.

In the Punk/Val match from 2005, at the 8:02 mark of the video, is that Eric Bischoff in the background behind the turnbuckle?

They say this is cm punks first ever televised match in WWE The commentary immediately after punk is introduced says we have seen cm punk on heat before I found a match from April 17th 2005 that saw Punk team with a guy named Chad Russell Simpson vs Simon Dean and Maven on Heat. Not sure if this is Punk's 1st Heat appearance or not.

Controversy in a Cage – 5/13/1989 Controversy reigns supreme when Dusty Rhodes defends the PWF Heavyweight Championship against The Big Steel Man inside a steel cage. Wait wait wait...when did WWE get the PWF library? I hadn't heard that before. PWF, despite what some people think, was not just a renamed Championship Wrestling from Florida, it was a completely separate promotion that came after Crockett bought CWF out and shut it down.

Did Mike Graham own the PWF footage? If so, it probably was included when he sold the CWFF library to WWE in 2006.

Having just bought Dick Bourne's Four Horsemen timeline book, this makes me wonder...is it possible to dig up the local promo where Arn first coins the Four Horsemen name?
