Wonder if like half his fight scenes as the Pegasus Kid will see him immediately lose his mask, as is the movie standard.

Urgh. Why would you even want to make the film? Aren't there other less tragic stories to tell? I won't be watching it....

I don't see anyone high profile being cast in this. It'll be a straight to DVD low-budget film starring people like Brian Austin Green and Tara Reid. Lou Diamond Phillips IS Vince McMahon

If they put it on Lifetime, Meredith Baxter will play Nancy.

I bet the ending really leaves 'em hangin'. Stop it, you're gonna get me thinking about the other thread where a bunch of Benoit jokes were made. Tasteless. but hilarious

Dennis Quaid would be perfect for the Vince McMahon role.

Grumpy Cat as Hornswoggle. As hilarious as that'd be, I can't help but think it'd be much cheaper to hire Hornswoggle than Tardar Sauce.

I am honestly intrigued by this, I know Liev was circling the role, he'd be great at it, and Lexie is someone who I've been interested in ever since she talked about Punisher: War Zone on HDTGM. But man, talk about a movie that would be really, really hard for me to watch...

I don't particularly care how committed Lexi Alexander would be to the source material - when that source material is _Ring of Hell_, you know it's going to be a shitshow that will do for anyone involved what _Karla_ did for Laura Prepon.

Dammit! I came here to make the exact same joke. Eh I might as well put this here because there is no reason for two a Bruce Hart connected threads... I watched Summerslam 93 not that long ago. Now I don't know if the Bret vs Bruce plan was still on then and then Bret convinced Vince to let him work with Owen of of the switch had been made. But if it hadn't Bruce really wasted his time because the dude was trying so hard to be in the frame when he and Owen came in the ring to save Bret.

Fast forward to IYH Canadian Stampede and you'd be forgiven for thinking the reason why Hart's team won was because of Bruce. One of the reasons why I love that match aside from from the quality of it is Bruce using the moment as a final audition, like a bad singer in a talent show.

Wait, have the WWE given their permission to be included in the movie? If not, then how is this going to be anywhere close to being possible? Change the names of everyone involved except Benoit? Regardless, this seems like a depressing mess that I wouldn't want to go anywhere near. 'Watch a guy slowly lose his mind because of repeated blows to the head, watch his grief over the death of friends, watch him murder his family and then kill himself'. Uh... no, I think I'll pass. It's like the movie "Star '80" where they slowly build up to the tragic end.
