It's so funny listening to them try to prop the Knockouts Division up like its the same talent level it's always been. We're pretty far gone from the glory days of this division.

Cody's deal with TNA seems to just be focused on wanting a one-off feud with Mike Bennett. Makes me wonder if his wife signing with TNA will make him want to reconsider this just being a one-off deal and decide to focus himself primarily on TNA.

Considering the doors at NJPW has opened for him I can see him trying to force that door when he wants a permanent spot. Considering TNA taping schedule him and his wife should always be together majority of time or at least not away from each other for weeks at a time which I'm sure has been a topic of conversation and deciding factors.

Didn't know that with regards to New Japan wanting him. Seeing how New Japan hasn't had a working relationship with TNA ever since their treatment of Okada, I'd hope that him wanting to work with TNA doesn't hurt him in their eyes. This should be a no-brainer for Cody. In TNA, he'd be feuding with Mike Bennett. In New Japan, he's pretty much a shoo-in for a main-event run and most likely the newest member of Bullet Club.

Yea he has matches scheduled with them if I'm not mistaken. Cody has made it clear he wants to freelance but he will soon have to choose and I can see him doing the ROH/NJPW crossover if anything. A one off with TNA seems in the works considering his wife is now with them and I expect Maria to try to Bully her which leads to Cody and Bennett. It's going be interesting to see what they do with her because while she has an athletic background she is still green and it's going to be a learning curve.

I came in here hoping TNA was going to announce an open sponsership with Hennessy, I assume it's how most of the roster get through the week.

So can Brandi use the Rhodes name? Absolutely. WWE doesn't own trademarks or protection of the "Rhodes" surname, just specific full names (Cody Rhodes, possibly Dusty Rhodes and Dustin Rhodes, but that's it).

I expect the first words out of her mouth will be of how WWE mistreated her and held her down and made her a ring announcer because everyone else was jealous of her abilities.
Then she goes and has the third Minus Five Stars match in the companies history.

Given the closeness of WWE's impending buyout of WWE, I wonder if Cody will have a situation like when Road Dogg got fired from WWF, went over to Atlanta to try and get a job with WCW, and saw Shane McMahon there. Showing up to work only for it to suddenly be owned by WWE would sting.

What's the over/under on her showing up with +10 extra pounds and cutting a promo about how the WWE wasted her? About as good as her odds are of standing up to Maria On Day 1 and turning on Gail Kim two weeks later to win the strap Week after that, job to Gail Kim

I can't wait to hear Brandi no last name cut a promo about how WWE didn't let her wrestle and dressed her husband up in clown paint before she challenges Maria and hugs Gail Kim while Aron Rex sheds a tear.
