Even before Tony Romo went down in the preseason, who thought a Bears at Cowboys game would make for exciting primetime action? Wasn't it apparent around April or May that the 2016 Bears were going to be among the league's worst teams? Yeah they also played without starters in defense. I just don't see the big deal in Prescott. I just hope he starts sliding soon or he'll get RG3d and his story will be over soon.

If you'll humor my arrogance for a few moments...
Sunday was a day for me as a Patriots fan to really get the chance to sit down and observe the league. On a normal Sunday, I'm preparing for or watching the Patriots game at 1 or digesting the game or watching it at 4 or in primetime. But with the Patriots having played on Thursday, I had the full day to myself to park myself on the sofa and see what the NFL has to offer in 2016. And I came to the following conclusion:
The NFL in 2016 really sucks.
How many truly good, championship-quality teams are there right now? Four? Five? I couldn't get over how inept a majority of the league looks. Maybe I'm spoiled by 15 years of overwhelming success, but I just can't recall seeing that kind of incompetence on display. Ryan Fitzpatrick throws six interceptions. Pittsburgh surrenders 34 points to a rookie quarterback while only scoring 3. Carolina can't get out of their own way against a Vikings team that has been decimated by injuries. Green Bay nearly lets Detroit claw their way back into it at home. Miami and Cleveland remind me of that episode of "South Park" in which the Little League ballplayers are actively trying to lose. Arizona gets throttled by Buffalo.
Somebody has to win the Super Bowl this year, but through three weeks it feels like we're on yet another collision course between Denver and New England in the AFC, while the NFC is anyone's guess. Minnesota is 3-0, but does anyone have confidence in Sam Bradford minus Adrian Peterson? Russell Wilson has a sprained MCL. Green Bay still has the same flaws they've had since about 2011. Arizona got rocked by the Bills. That conference is a total toss-up.

Let's not forget he has been to 3 Super Bowls (2 as head coach), so he isn't worthless as a coach. I don't think he can get them to the promised land, but he might be able to rebuild them so someone else can.

That was refreshing, great game for me personally. No excitement, but just watching my team be good for once. It's been too long.

Can I just ask why are people acting surprised Fitzpatrick sucked on Sunday?
The man wanted Brock Osweiler money while having only had about 3 or 4 good seasons out of 12, not a great ratio.
This was the reason I wanted Geno to be the starter this year, because at least with Geno he's cheap contract wise and him starting would have lowered expectations on the team this season.

Arizona got rocked by the Bills. That conference is a total toss-up. Only 4 or 5 championship quality teams? How many do you expect? Sure we all remember the mid 90s Cowboys and 49ers battling it out but who was coming out of the AFC other then the Bills? Were they amazing? Probably not. Are those years where a 9-7 wild card teams going in on tie breakers relatively any better then who ever does the same this year? Probably not unless they were a team that started slow and just everything clicked at the end. Week 3 is not even over teams start slow 1-2. Also the Cardinals were playing an early game flying out east in those games Western teams under preform. Also God damnit I am sick and tired of people thinking Adrian Peterson was the only thing the Vikings had going for them or that Matt Khali didn't suck ass. AP was the most infleixble great player one could think of. The coaching staff catered to him much to the determent of the offense last year. AP couldn't block on a passing down, couldn't run out of the shotgun and couldn't catch to spread the field out on checkdowns. Sure they probably did it because the Vikings o-line last year sucked and to help keep Teddy Bridgewater progress at their pace without over taxing him but still it wasn't pretty at times. Including that AP is an old running back who was a featured back for a long long time so he has many miles on him. Everyone knows the name so in their minds it was a loss they couldn't get over but if you payed attention you knew what adjustments the Vikings could make to maybe even make the offense better then if they had to cater to AP this season Also Norv Turner finally learned maybe 5-7 step drops with a shitty offensive line isn't the best idea like he tried to do last year. That helps the passing game alot

This Season, The Atlanta Falcons will be replaced by a Big XII team apparently. Nothing but scoring and no defense... but it's gotten them to 2-1

One of my fantasy teams won even though the threesome of Kelvin Benjamin, Gronk, and Brandin Cooks scored me a combined 1 point. I'll thank myself and my foresight to sign Christine Micheals off the waiver wire and start him against my 49ers.

Minnesota is definately right now the best team in the NFC (if not the best team in the NFL) as they have a defense that is terrifying as they made both Aaron Rodgers and Cam Newton look not elite at all.
I said that to my dad before the game that having Minnesota without AP only gave me small calm as that defense was still there and they legit scare me. Not only did they beat Cam and that offense, but they made the Carolina defense look bad.
Don't take the team lightly.

He might be questionable as a stater, but he was definitely the best available when Bridgewater went down. Might as well get the best possible replacement if you think it can win you a SB this season.
