Reverse topic here, is Kaval the only person to ever sort of reference TNA by name in WWE? Cena's done it. They have also talked about TNA by name a few times on the Network. I think Cena only said he could go somewhere else and make an impact.

Wasn't TNA trying to.phase out TNA and go with Impact Wrestling at the time? I thought he also threw in "brother" to reference Hogan as well. Looking at video I seem to be mixing a bunch up.

Ken Anderson buried Triple H for saying that Anderson wasn't a top talent...boy does triple h has a great eye for talent. I trust him to run a promotion after passing on Ken fn Anderson.

Now what did Waltman say again? I just remember him talking about TNA becoming another promotion down the line to fire him in his debut. What he said before that, got no recollection at all.

I swear he might have said that in a promo once or maybe a few dozen times. Usually John Cena does say he would never leave WWE EXCEPT one time during a storyline where Vince had gone crazy with his hatred of CM Punk and John Cena and was going to fire John Cena at the end of RAW (which led to Hunter coming out to tell Vince that the stockholders had fired Vince himself and no one else). On that episode John told Vince that even though John loved the WWE and never wanted to work anywhere else wrestling was what he did for a living so if Vince did fire him he "would wrestle on someone else's tv show, brother!" Hogan was the storyline gm of TNA at the time so it was obviously a TNA reference.

It wasn't when they debuted but the New Age Outlaws had their stupid thing where they insulted Paul Levesque and Michael Hickenbottom (we know who they're talking about Don!) and the Dudley Boys bad mouthed WWECW a few times. Can't forget about their name: The Voodoo Kin Mafia I'm glad they did, since VKM is excellent short hand for "ignore my point". I only see it from people who have grudges against him, since it's not anyone would ever be confused that if you said Vince without qualifiers, that's who you mean. I think Russo's kids could say "Vince" and he'd take it they meant McMahon. It's like if I said "Austin". No one's going to say "now now, do you mean Aries or Creed?" They'd think I meant Stone Cold.

Gladly shuckin' & jivin' for a good, steady WWE paycheck. A former WWE wrestler insulting WWE while in TNA is trying to prove street cred to the TNA fanbase and management. A rite of passage. Only a few completely avoided it. But that was because they were out the door before they got the chance.
