I also want to throw out there that anyone defending Dixie is openly defending someone who decided to put f***ing Gunner on national television for several years.

As I've said, she is what happens when a parent (Bob) who's worked hard and struck it rich decides they don't want their kids to go through the same struggles and hardships they went through in their life and so spoil and give them everything they want. Thus making them believe they can have whatever they want whenever they want it and are unable to cope and live without their parents checkbook

(British flag guy loses all faith in life the moment that happens) I'd say it's on Gunner. What could the other guy even have done? BTW, in case anyone was wondering, I checked Gunner's Twitter today and he's still the most insufferable in the business at it.

I also felt really bad last Friday when I went to Taco John's (a Minnesota-based Tex-Mex chain for people who find Taco Bell a little *too* ethnic) and my receipt informed me the person who took my order was named Gunner. Nice kid, was polite, pleasant and got my order correct and in a timely manner. However, once I saw his name I couldn't help but intrusively think "f***ing Gunner."

I love to see a person defend f***ing Gunner To try it as devil's advocate: Gunner nearly got a developmental contract with WWE in 2008-09 and only lost it and went to TNA because he tested positive for steroids and they pulled the deal, and they were damn close to signing him to NXT last year. So, you're going to mock Dixie for putting f***ing Gunner on national television for several years, you also have to give WWE some mockery for being willing to sign Gunner to development first, as well as NXT for being willing to sign Gunner EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE KNEW he sucked.

Well in that case HHH loses one brownie point that puts him at a total of 58. Meanwhile...... Dixie's brownie points sit at negative 350.

He didn't have to sell that at all he could of clubbed him in the back after that shit try or no sold it entirely. Also love the British flag guy being totally deflated after what he has witnessed.

Close only counts in horseshoes and hand-grenades, so I don't know how close NXT came to signing him last year, but they didn't so I won't. Maybe they gave him a shot to see if there was more to him than what TNAitis does to people. I'll admit, I was curious too. But for WWE in 2008/9, you mean during the John Laurinitis-era almost signing Gunner? I believe it, but look at who was doing the signing at that time.

Yeah- and it was likely doubled for Gunner, which gives some more TNA mockery to some of the few good things about TNA: Apparently, a big reason Gunner nearly got that 2008-09 deal was that he was good friends with the Hardys and they got him the deal (similar to Everett and Lee in TNA right now.)

WWE may have been willing to sign Gunner for their developmental promotion. TNA signed Gunner and gave him multiple championships and a World title match that was built for months.
I don't think those decisions are quite exactly the same.

I'm not a fan of f***ing Gunner but that botch is on Kris Lewie. Lewie f***ing sucked hardcore in his Gut Check tryout match.

In Defense of Dixie sounds like one of those "What if" historical fiction novels about the American Civil War.

Gunner is kinda meh, but Kris Lewie is like a black hole of awfulness that sucks up everything in his path. You have to grade his matches on a steep curve.

Just listened to Bruce Pritchard and Cornette talk about Dixie. Apart from her pretty much f***ing up the contract structure, apparently Dixie was also manipulated by Kevin Nash.
I'm convinced that every wrestler can work and con Dixie.

I love to see a person defend f***ing Gunner Dude that is him against Kris Lewie, that dude botched running. Using that against Gunner is like judging a chef's food based on the taste from licking a gas station toilet 2 block away. Seriously he makes Rosa Mendes' work look like Shawn Michaels'. Now as for F****** Gunner, I won't defend his personality or off screen stuff but as a wrestler he is solid. He could easily be a player in NXT or a midcarder on the main roster. He'll never set the world on fire but he's a good guy to have around.
