The division is probably going to have a lot of people saying this about a lot of different guys if WWE can't give anyone but the champion and the challenger mic time to say goddamn anything. There's all these new guys nobody has ever seen before and WWE refuses to give any of them a chance to speak or show any character.

TJP = Belt + Video Game Brian Kendrick = Brian Kendrick, but a pirate now I guess? Tony Nese = Premier Athlete Rich Swann = Likes to have fun Cedric Alexander = Rich Swann's friend Gran Metalik = Mask What's not to love, MAGGLE?

Nese was awesome tonight. Actually, so was Swann. But Nese's psychology was out of this world. I can't wait to see more of both of them.

I like the simple presentation they are getting, a taped promo and some background info. That's all they need really for now. Maybe when it's more established they can start to move things up a notch with the development of gimmicks etc.
Also Nese is great.

Nese has some very impressive moves in the skill set, I think. If there's something in the presentation he's lacking, I hope he gets the right opportunities to improve those aspects.

To be fair people wanna say he has no character, give the dude a break he's wrestled like four times for the WWE and two of those were a Tournament. He did cut a promo before his match with Swann where he basically said he thinks he's above Swann and what he does and is just athletically superior, and backed it up by winning the match.
He's a cocky guy who believes he can do anything in the ring against any style, that's not "NOTHING" like some people here are saying, he can fly, he's got power, and he can be technical. He's a solid hand that could to me easily transcend the Cruiserweights. But he's got an ego about how superior he is, and it cost him against both Kendrick and Perkins.
And he has more going for him than Apollo "Smile" Crews does and he's been up for months...

Uhhh Zack Sabre Jr is trash bags good sir. WOuldnt say trash bags but considering that was the first time Id ever seen him wrestle, and then Jack Gallagher does the same thing but has a clearly defined character and just oozes in ring charisma on top of it, ZSJ looks a little underwhelming in comparison.

Uhhh Zack Sabre Jr is trash bags good sir. I think he'd be bin liners.[/quote Oh, Zack Sabre's a dustbin He wears a dustbin hat He wears cor blimey trousers And he lives in a council flat He looks a proper narner In his great big hob nailed boots He's got such a job to pull em up That he calls them daisy roots He asked me where honey comes from. I put one hand on his shoulder and confided, "It's the bees, Nese".

I think you are confusing him with Caleb Konely, Magic.
Sure he got the skills and workrate we love but he does like a true character. Superior athlete. Got about 3 people doing that gimmick. Hell, most of the cruisers lack that. But with time and effort, WWE will fix that.
Hopefully.

If you glance at him quickly, and only quickly as it doesn't hold up at all on closer inspection, he looks like a wrestling Al Borland I felt the same way about him during the CWC. His moves are very impressive and athletic, but something just isn't clicking for me yet.

Nese and Neville ("Nevese"?) Should be a tag team ASAP, Same upper body strength, both aerially proficient, and their tag team moves tandem offense would be legendary.
Them having a longtime rivalry with Alexander and Swann could make room for a possible second tag team division ('TV Tag Titles' defended on every episode of WWE Superstars and the RAW ppv pre-shows)

They're not really doing anything special with Kendrick and Perkins either. This would have been a great week for some story advancement but nope... nothing. I kind of can't wait for the CW division, as it stands right now at least, to dissolve. That whole match I was thinking I wonder what Swann could do with Cesaro or Nese and Sheamus for example.

I liked when Nese hit the shoulder tackle, flexed and quietly told Swann "you can't match my strength, okay?" like a step-dad trying to admonish his wife's kid.
Nese is exactly what I didn't want the cruiserweight division to be, and so far it looks like WWE's got a bit of a hard-on for him, so that's really disappointing.

He's just a dude. A dude that does stuff. I'm not seeing what's so amazing and must see about him. Ok he does a flip dive. Rollins does that, Owens does that, AJ does that. I think it's just because of his look. The guy is ripped and isn't the kind of guy you would expect to see flying around the ring. He's basically just a slightly better looking Neville. Also I agree he needs to play up his character a bit more but I guess that will come with time.
