Bank of America's terrible ads with a llama in them.

One I keep seeing again lately that needs to be called out - the stupid Geico, "She's going for distance!" marathon thing. Mostly because... How seriously am I supposed to take it? Because it seems to be played dead seriously except the song is the goofiest, most parody-sounding thing in the world.

I'll be honest, this endless wave of Colonel Sanders is just getting bizarre. Apparently I completely missed the Rob Riggle Era, which fell between the Age of George Hamilton and Pete Campbell Period.

I pretty much exclusively watch Netflix, the WWE Network, and UK streams of RAW and Smackdown.
So...the Money Supermarket dancing commercials I guess?

Is it building up to Colonel Sanders being black? Kind of feels like the only logical punchline and even then it's not exactly a stellar one.

I am still waiting for it to go completely bizarre with that like having it be a woman, or like all of them to come back for a commercial and fight abotu who the real Colonel Sanders is like the original commercials implied. Though they probably don't have an end game in mind as it sounded like they expected Darrell Hammond to be the Colonel as a rather permanent replacement, since they had him meet his family and visit his estate and such before he took the job.

Oh, since this is playing for the billionth time, this is another good one to call out - Target's, "Let's play this annoying random gibberish song while flashing random images at you for a commercial that feels like it's about six years long," thing lately.

I've been seeing these again lately. I forgot about those but yeah the "WHAT DO WE DO WITH ALL OF THESE DEAD MICE?!" ads are definitely bizarre.

If it leads to Terry Crews as the Colonel, I'll forgive them.

It has to be that lazy cow on the Clearscore adverts, I can't stand her. Although even that one isn't as weird as the old one with the Mexican talking cat.

Zyppah.com radio commercials. How is an obnoxious New Yawk guy (with the most obnoxious accent in history) babbling supposed to sell your product?

See also that Geico Chinese food commercial that seems to sell their business as being designed to make you hate all sound for that man's ungodly annoying voice and not actually saying a thing about their insurance.

Another one I'm seeing more and more lately - commercial for... I dunno, Sprint or Verizon one, where a guy rambles in a really smug way about how their product is almost as good as competitors' so you should buy them instead. It comes off like it's by someone really insecure but uncomfortable with lying or spinning things.

Note to American Express: Tina Fey is annoying me to the point of wanting to put a remote through my TV.
And I'll buy my new set with my Visa.

It's probably specific to San Antonio, but look up the San Antonio Spurs commercials for HEB. I get them on youtube constantly, and they're really damn weird. "It's a chicken retreat!"
