Who are the members of The Board Of Directors?

For years and years this group have overpowered many authority figures in the decision making, only to go back into hibernation for years again until they feel the need to get involved with whichever Mcmahon has stepped out of line again. The same group that relieved Mr Mcmahon of his day to day duties, among other countless examples. But who are they FAN? Who are the members of this anonymous group? Why do they pop up so randomly? Are they in any connection to the other shadowy group known as The Shareholders?

Whenever they get brought up I always like to envision them like The Ring from Chuck. A faceless group of middleaged men sitting around a horseshoe shapen table anticipating the most recent news to be brought to them by a noble pawn directly facing them all (Only to be dropped down a Mr Burns esc trapdoor)
