Not since the rise of NXT. Even pointing out Hunter cutting off the legs of Roman during their feud got laughed off because people hated Reigns enough to ignore that. "It's just Roman. f*** him." All it takes is a kickass Takeover and a couple of selfies with some beloved standouts & all is forgiven. The narrative by the sheets and online been Hunter is for everything we want and Vince is the roadblock to wrestling Nirvana. You've already hit it right on the head with several posts in this thread, but it's worth quoting for the truth. People are straight up drawing lines in the sand over backstage BS where the good and bad guy is so arbitrary and everything Triple H has ever allegedly done is forgiven and forgotten with a selfie and making a bland super-indy for people afraid of anything without a WWE logo which makes him the hero. Not afraid. Just too cheap.

I'm baffled by how a post like this gets so many likes. What the f***? Three pages and everyone else is just letting it slide. He's a bad person because the TV show isn't how you like it? It's shit like this that reminds me why I've been coming here less and less. Yes, because Jim Cornette hates him. Which is the main and probably sole source for any and everything that gets "credited" to him -- he's the WWE boogieman. I seem to have to do this every time a Dunn-related thread is made, but no, people are not this hard on him because we don't like the TV show, or because crazy old Cornette told a funny story. There are multiple accounts out there from others in the business, not the least of which are former head writer Alex Greenfield and Paul f'n Bearer. Greenfield, himself initially skeptical of all the vitriol towards Dunn, found it to be justified after actually having to work with him, calling him a "misogynist influence on the product" and giving examples of his behavior. Bearer, who got along with damn near everyone in wrestling and scarcely had a harsh word to say about anyone, did a shoot interview talking about his hatred for Dunn. There's plenty more that is easily found with a bit of Googling, and I'm sure not all of it is true, but (A) there's enough out there from respected names in the business that it's fair for us to take it all into consideration, and (B) it's much better to ask "why do you feel that way?" about someone's opinion, rather than assuming they hold that point of view for silly reasons.

I hate her accent, too. Irish accents in general are fine, but Becky just sounds like she's deaf.

I like Alvarez but a lot of times it sounds like he's just saying things. Dude's an idiot. I think he's great. He tends to forget things (age/fatherhood/MMA) in wrestling, but he's easily the most palatable wrestling-based host out there, IMO. His sources might be sketch (Probably Vinnie, Wang and Tom Lawlor), but he's great at what he does.

I seen people blame Vince and Dunn for things that happen in NXT like the Authors of Pain squashing American Alpha To be fair that was on Vince. By all accounts he's the one who wanted them called up and himself gave the order to get the belts off them and phase them out quickly. Granted don't really think that was a bad thing, it was time to call them up really.

If true, he's an idiot. Accent is delightful.
If not, I retract idiot label. Delightful accent still stands

HHH burying people and sabotaging momentum has been one of the most common criticisms of WWE over the years. I still don't think HHH was cutting Reigns legs off on purpose. I think in HHH's mind he was thinking he was putting Reigns over huge and just got caught in the moment doing crotch chops when people were cheering for HHH. Roman Reigns and The Shield have always been HHH guys. But back to your point on people giving Hunter a free pass, people seem to quietly forget it was HHH who told CM Punk they were putting Roman Reigns in The Shield over Chris Hero, lobbied to Vince to have Roman Reigns win The 2015 Rumble instead of Big E, laid down for Roman Reigns for the decisive pinfull in that Evolution vs. The Shield elimination match, convinced Vince last minute to end TLC 2015 with Roman Reigns giving HHH a beatdown, and lobbied for years to have a one on one program with Roman Reigns and finally getting it at Most Attented Wrestlemania event ever. Romain Reigns has always been HHH's meal ticket and I'm sure if HHH was 100% charge of booking, Roman Reigns will still be booked just as strongly and prominent if not even more.

Re: Bearer, he actually looked right into the camera and with as much glee as he could muster shouted "Kevin Dunn, I hate you!" When you can make a guy like Paul Bearer say that with as much happiness as he said it with, you must be a grade A dickhead.

Vince is a plastic paddy, it would be a brave person who criticized Irish accents to him.

I have no proof of Dunn's positives or negatives from a creative standpoint. However, he's head of production I believe and outside of the video packages, WWE's production is pretty bad sometimes.
