TNA's crazy rich investor could be Elon Musk and he could decide all shows will take place on space flights as the universe's very first space-based wrestling show, and it still wouldn't do any good or get anyone to watch.

(Can't embed on mobile, but Fight Network's statement on Corgan's comments.) So they are admitting they have defaulted on the loan, lied in court and still don't have a plan to pay him. Wow.

Nothing gives me more confidence than a court-ordered payment that is already days late being described as a "solid plan."

"We have the money to pay you right now, why won't you let us pay you back?" "Okay well the loan is due now, please pay me back." "Sorry, we're not at the office right now, if you'd leave a message at the tone [...]"

Once again, someone honestly explain why this "promotion" is good for the wrestling industry? Because "competition" magically makes everything better!

Dixie's head game must be bombastic
I hope their ratings will fall even more, nobody buys their PPVs, nobody buys their merch and nobody attends their takings/shows

Were they not supposed to pay Billy in full already. If they are holding the money to hold it then Billy is about to throw a fit. Anthem essentially admitted not paying him despite that was agreed upon in court they would

How do you mess up repaying a loan that you said you would in a court of law and then blame said person for being confused about why they HAVEN'T been paid back when you're now owned by a BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY?!
Like...there's usual TNA antics and then there's this shit.

EDIT: There's no swearing in that Tweet, but for some reason I feel compelled to want to give it a language warning.

I firmly believe this company will last til 2022. 20 years of this f***ing company. I hope at that time Billy Corgan is still fighting them. TNA sucks, shouldn't be in business yaddayaddayadda but this one of the best storylines in wrestling. I'm anxious to see what happens next now that Stone Cold Billy Corgan is getting nasty.

I think TNA is already infecting Anthem with stupidity.

It's like everything TNA touches turns into incompetence. Fight Network's twitter post comes off as "We're not going to say anything because we're going to take the high road, but seriously sit the f*** down and wait until we're good and ready to talk to you" and Billy is only getting further brownie points in a general public opinion sense through this. TNA has not come out of this situation looking good and they're really only continuing to make things worse in the public's eye.
Also, if Billy can't get paid in a timely manner when they promised in court they would pay him and made this huge dick-waving announcement about how they'll totes pay Corgan and he's just being a baby for not accepting it (regardless of the strings they tried to attach to it) then the jury is still out as hell on if the wrestlers are going to start getting paid in a timely manner. Same CFO still in charge of the company, same people who misappropriated funds and reportedly skimmed peoples' payroll taxes off their paycheck only to not actually pay it to the government... Something tells me they won't be as above-board as is even remotely acceptable to be.

I wonder if The Fight Network will still enjoy TNA when they start demanding that they remove all their other products such as New Japan and CMLL and that they only show them?

(Can't embed on mobile, but Fight Network's statement on Corgan's comments.) I just can't.. This company is more depressing than Jimmy Valiant jerking off underneath a glass table while a hooker is shitting on top of it. FAN once did a ms paint about it but I can't post it for obvious reasons.

TNA, you're now partly owned by a billion dollar company - there's no reason you shouldn't be paying Billy his money. Now you've pissed him off enough that he wants to convert the payment to his 36% equity. Maybe if you'd paid the man when you were supposed to, he would have taken the cash and left well alone.
