Funny story: I was sitting right in front of two guys who hated both teams. They apparently left (or moved elsewhere) as the match got good.

It means: watch out Raw and/or SmackDown tag rosters.

Maybe they interfere on behalf of RAW or SD tomorrow to win the match and announce their arrivals on the brand. They're sooooo good.

Revival on RAW ---> New Day makes fat jokes, they get sad, beat The Club then lose to New Day who makes more fat jokes, and potentially wear fat suits.
Revival on SDL ---> SAY YEAH!!!!

Doesn't the Demolition record come one day after a Raw? Revival debut and cost the New Day the belts?

In my 40 years of Fandom it's clear that the Revival are the best heel tag team I've ever seen.

THis seems like a great chance to tell a story form Ricardo Rodriguez's shoot interview. Ricardo helped with the WWE tryout camps and to try and get the best out of the people attending Regal and Hunter would split the wrestlers up and intentionally put them with people they had never worked with to see how they'd do on the fly. Ricardo said during the tryouts the only people to ever get everybody in the building to stop and just watch them were Dash and Dawson; who were paired against each other and decided to just brawl and beat the crap out of each other.
So while it took them a little bit of time to be paired together as a tag team, these are two guys that literally came up through the tryout camp together and worked their asses off to not only become a great tag team, but arguably the best team in the company... and dare I say the world.
And refreshing enough, Dash and Dawson are the rare heels now a days that will get their opponents over as faces, and will get themselves booed at all costs... they actually remind me a lot of Tully and Double A

That was an awesome tag match. Probably match of the year and easily match of the night by a distance/
Revival are probably main roster bound but which one....

They are the true kings of tag team wrestling today. Absolutely unbelievable, they are heat machines and ... words fail me. They are always, always working on the win, you just don't see that anywhere else.

The only bummer is that I wanted Revival to retain. Ciampa turns on Gargano and starts the blood feud, while Dash and Dawson come up, as champs, then squash Slater and Rhyno then jump ship and finally feud with the New Day.

I stood up in my living room and applauded at the end. Best damn tag team match I've seen in a long time.

I am not entirely sure. With The Club, they've been booked so poorly, I don't blame that on New Day alone, and with Vaudevillains, it was just a really poor idea to throw a gimmick that needs time to get over at all at the best of times at them right away. I could see it being more like when New Day fought Y2AJ for one of the best TV matches in years, though if Revival are called up to Raw, I want it to be after New Day is already past the Demolition record, just since then, there'd be any chance of the title changing hands. Either way, glad the tag division in WWE is looking damn good for a long time to come.

That's how it's gotta go down, and they played it perfectly. Stunning match, Revival goes up very soon, Gargano and Ciampa take over as "old guard" for the new teams to take down. Wrasslin 101.

The Revival didn't have indy nor international cred before getting paired up as a duo. They stuck to the Mid Atlantic region where most don't care to watch. But like Trevor Lee, true talent will not be denied. The Revival are basically a Crockett Promotions tag team. If they were around in the 80's, they would been tearing up the Carolinas against the Kernodles, Steamboat & Youngblood, and the Rock and Roll Expresss. They are the best throwbacks in wrestling today. I see why Hunter is big on them because they make the NWA mark in him greatly pleased.
Eventually they will make their main roster debut. But on Raw because outside of the Club, there are no heel duos. Not counting The Colons because they don't any response to considered anything. WWE wants New Day breaking Demolition's record and they got only a few weeks before that. Then all bets are off and someone new is getting a run. I rather it be an untarnished yet polished duo in the Revival. And like all other feuds from NXT continuing on the main roster, there will diminishing returns on that and folks calling for the feud to end for something new. Keep them away from American Alpha for now.

Revival are THE heel tag team. I said it at last year's Dusty tag team event, they've studied what makes a great heel team without just doing the same Ricky Morton tag match formula bullshit every week.

Goddamn amazing. That chop block made me cringe, looked like it'd suck so bad. Great match though, both teams were amazing.
