Tomorrow will mark 25 years since Freddie Mercury died. IMO, the greatest frontman who ever lived. For all the flamboyance and attitude, he had a voice that most singers would kill for.
It's really hard to watch this video without tearing up at that last line. We still love you Freddie. Music just hasn't been the same without you.

Been on a huge Queen kick of late again. Such an inspirational guy and wonderfully relevant music that resonates today, especially today.

Freddie is my first celebrity crush.
He was a wonderful man, even when he had his faults. I miss him so much, and watching "these are the days of our lives" makes me tear up everytime"

For people in the UK, the Freddie Mercury tribute concert is on this Saturday on Sky Arts at 9pm. If you haven't seen it, it's definitely worth a watch, especially when George Michael has the crowd in the palm of his hand during Somebody to Love.

I've read and wonder if the last line was a reference to the song "Love of my life"

My two go-to posts for anyone unfamiliar with Queen. I have never seen anyone take command of a crowd with the stage presence of Freddie Mercury.
And that voice...my god that voice.

If you are referring to the show from right aft he died, that Axl Rose/Elton John duet of Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the greatest things ever.

I'd also add Roger Daltrey on "I Want It All" and James Hetfield on "Stone Cold Crazy," both with Tony Iommi.

I was 16 when he died, and didn't see what all the fuss was about. To me, everyone just seemed to jump on the bandwagon and become a fan.
Fast forward 25 years and I've nothing but respect for his voice, showmanship, artistry, flamboyance - the ultimate frontman.
And I say that as someone who's not exactly a Queen fan.

The final song he recorded. That bridge followed by Brian May gets me every time.

Funny as I read this I had this playing. I just recently heard this version on the radio and looked it up when I got home. I really digging it and honestly didn't know this was a thing.

Greatest ever rock frontman.
His farewell in "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" was endearingly beautiful, and brave too.

As a young man I always thought tge front man of Queen was black due to Another One Bites the Dust sounding like a funk song.
It shows that Freddie & Queen could do various styles

Anyone ever been to the stage show We Will Rock You? I got to see it just weeks before it stopped for good.

It's really hard to pick an absolute favorite queen song. But god I love this duo of songs.

Greatest frontman ever.
Plus he dressed Princess Diana in drag to sneak her into a gay club. Can't help but love that.

Eric Carr (KISS drummer) died the same day as Freddie Mercury. It was an absolutely terrible day.
