Oh boy, he did NOT like Belle's Enchanted World. Short run time (under 4 minutes?!) and complete disdain in his voice with no effort to hide it. Damn. Wait until he gets to the Cinderella one 2, I presume? Unless I'm wrong, he's mentioned 3 favorably before. (Or maybe that was Nostalgia Chick/Lindsey Ellis)...

Considering some of Doug's opinions on other things, I can see him not "getting" the appeal of Cinderella 3 and not particularly liking it.

Well I liked Cinderella 3, and pretend 2 never happened. and would have seen a Cinderella 4 and conclude the Cinderella trilogy. My idea is center Cinderella's kid and the evil step mother kidnap her kid as part of a plot for revenge.

From what I've read, Cinderella 2 sounds like it was Belle's Magical World - an anthology of shorter tales - so I'm certain Critic will hate that one. 3 at least was a story, that gave the people character, and it was a story whose changes were.....was not really "put back to normal" - a change was made and it wasn't all undone. The plot with Anastasia was very decent (somewhat played up in 2, actually). But for me, the movie's most impressive element was turning the Wicked Stepmother into a flat-out Disney villain - I did not see that coming based on what I'd read, and I'll be damned if it didn't work wonderfully.

One of the worst parts of the Eisner regime at Disney. It made the company look cheap and tacky.

I like Doug but I feel like 95% of his reviews are,"It wasn't too bad. It wasn't too good. Uhh..it was just okay."

I wonder what Doug's gonna do for next year, he's pretty much exhausted the Disney catalog (the rest of the live action films? Finally we get to see his thoughts on The Barefoot Executive and The Cat from Outer Space!)

Finally we get to see his thoughts on The Barefoot Executive and The Cat from Outer Space!) Treasure Island, Swiss Family Robinson, Pollyanna, the Witch Mountain movies, Absent Minded Professor, Son of Flubber, Johnny Tremain, The Apple Dumpling Gang, That Darn Cat, Shaggy Dog, Shaggy D.A., Follow Me Boys, Blackbeard's Ghost, One Magic Christmas, Merlin Jones, Homeward Bound, the Kurt Russell trilogy (Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Now You See Him Now You Don't and Strongest Man in the World)..... Yeah, he hasn't exhausted the Disney live action catalog yet at all.

Having never seen Little Mermaid 2, I just discovered that Prince Eric was voiced in it by Rob Paulsen. While I know Paulsen is a world class VA with an amazing range of voices, I just can't help but imagine Prince Eric talking like Yakko Warner through the entire movie.

Having never seen Little Mermaid 2, I just discovered that Prince Eric was voiced in it by Rob Paulsen. Wait wha--they couldn't get Christopher Daniel Barnes, who voiced him in the original movie, to come back? He showed up to voice Prince Charming in Cinderella 2 and 3 a few years later, but not a guy he'd already played for Little Mermaid 2?!? Damn...
