The Cowboys will take ugly wins over pretty losses any day of the week. Remember a couple of years ago when they lost that 51-48 game to Peyton and the Broncos when Romo threw for over 500 yards? You'll take a win scoring 17 over a loss scoring 48 any day of the week. Winning is better than losing. Might be your best take yet.

You laugh, yet there are sports radio hosts here in Boston who believe that a hard-fought loss to a good team is worth more than an easy win against a bad team. In recent years, they've handled the Patriots trouncing the Jaguars or Bills like it's nothing to be impressed about, yet have turned around and celebrated losses to the Packers or 49ers. It's baffling and ass-backwards yet it gets people to listen. The phrase on social media after a Patriots win against an also-ran is "another win in the loss column."

It's weird how fans and sports media can get spoiled by success isn't it? Back before the Brady era (and to a lesser extent Bledsoe), I can't imagine New England fans turning up their nose at ANY wins.

Thursday Night Football needs to be canned. The shit does not work. It does need to killed but this weeks game has nothing to do with coming off a short week. Dallas & Minnesota both played last Thursday so they have had a full week to recover. Ultimately I think it's just the night of Thursday which curses all football to be shitty.

I'm guessing you mean Michael Felger?

Wel prior to the Bledsoe/Parcells era with the NFL's blackout policy you only got to see A handful Patriots gamed a season and those were usually road games against good teams, so seeing a Patriots win was damn near impossible.

Nah, its the desire to get everybody onto a primetime slot. Outside of opening night & Thanksgiving, this night should exclusively have games featuring the Jaguars, Browns, Rams, & 49ers.
