I hope Jarrett wins this week.
I finally want it confirmed or denied that Vince considered Jeff the worst guy at cutting promos he ever worked with.

Conrad said something taht sounded like he had to cut it because the service they use couldn't fit the episode on the MLW thing. One of the bigger podcast hosting sites has a 3 hour limit on shows. Old cult film podcast I loved use to put out 9 hour long shows in 3 parts cause of the limit. I listened to a 5+ hour long podcast about the show The O.C. once. It can be done.

Well unless Jarrett does a miracle comeback, it looks like Beyond the mat is gonna win.
"HE'S GONNA HE'S GONNA PUKE!!"
I want to hear Bruce parody Heyman's speech then making excuses about the guys not getting paid

Also according to Conrad, he asked Meltzer to do a cameo and argue with Bruce but Dave rejected it.
That would've been epic

I don't think the options I vote for will ever win. Beyond the Mat was legit my fourth choice of the four options.

I remember listening to him argue with Ole Anderson. Ole basically started dismissing him as no different from any other fan. Ole: (contemptuously) You don't know enough to know enough. Dave: Well...yeah. Actually, I do.

I love Ole, but getting into that situation was completely pointless and carrying it on that long was, if anything, counterproductive.

I listened to the Ted Dibiase one the other day, and I can totally understand why Ted felt like he wasn't where he should be a year-2 years into his run. This dude came out with a ton of hype, vignettes and the gimmick was unique yet he went from being in the main event scene to feuding with Snuka a year later. Bruce chalked it up to cooling him off, but it's such a dramatic drop off from where he was. The million dollar belt was just a prop to keep him afloat. I totally thought he should have won the belt and gotten a 6 month run with it. I get it, but what else is he supposed to do? He had worked a long program with Savage, a long house show program with Hogan, and had Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan working for him for a year. Where could he go from there? The only major main event guy he could've worked with was Warrior, and he certainly wasn't going to win that feud. They put him in a slow burn feud with Jake that he basically wins, he works a House show program with Bossman, who was a star, and then works and wins a long feud with Dusty Rhodes. From 1987-1991, he's probably the strongest booked heel in the history of the company until 1999 Triple H. I see that, but Bruce was like "we had to cool him off." He's downright freezing when he goes from feuding with Hogan to feuding with Snuka, and I took the million dollar belt as just something to give him b/c he's never going to win the IC or WWF belt.

I rather not have Dave and Bruce on the same podcast. Two carnies who hate each other for not being able to carny the other.

You know you're addicted when you're waiting and waiting for today's episode to be released.
Rumor and innuendo say that Bruce was subjected to weekly drug tests and pulled a gun on a writer. I'll pop if one of those is true
