Also, Rey vs. Finlay, Matt Hardy's injury leads to MVP defending his US title against either Kane, Great Khali or Mark Henry, CM Punk defends the ECW Title against The Miz, and Triple H takes on Umaga. Episode 361: Montreal: From Both Sides On this special episode of Something To Wrestle, Bruce is joined by special guest host, Eric Bischoff! And as they say, there are two sides to every story. These two legendary personalities discuss the Montreal Screwjob 25 years later, with a different perspective you won't hear anywhere else!
It's a Dave Meltzer hate-fest!

Episode 362: Miss Elizabeth On this episode of Something To Wrestle, Bruce and Conrad discuss the life and career of the original First Lady of Wrestling and his time with Miss Elizabeth in the business! From Randy to the Mega Powers to Hulk, her return, and then going to WCW, it'll all be covered!
Episode 363: Survivor Series 1992 On this episode of STW, Bruce and Conrad are going back 30 years to the 6th annual Survivor Series - and Bruce's return to the company - in 1992! We see Nailz and the Big Boss Man in a Nightstick on a Pole Match, Tatanka vs. Rick Martel, Ultimate Warrior & Davey Boy Smith getting fired changing the main event and turning Mr. Perfect babyface to team with Randy Savage to take on Ric Flair & Razor Ramon. Plus, the first coffin match between Undertaker & Kamala, the PPV debut of Yokozuna and the first time Bret Hart took on Shawn Michaels in a singles match for the WWF title at the Survivor Series! That and so much more!

The Survivor Series 92 topic does have me planning to give a listen this week for the first time in a while. Let me know it is. I enjoy the show, but the explosion of ads and the giant drop in quality, I checked out. If it’s good, I’ll give it a listen.

I just finished listening to the Survivor Series 92 episode, it was slightly above average. It was nothing ground breaking, just an overview of the event and some of the stuff leading up to it that honestly they've covered in other episodes (i.e. Warrior's departure, Perfect's return, etc.).
Has anyone listened to the Miss Elizabeth episode? Is it worth a listen?

The early episodes were brilliant i thought but its time to end it now.at least until Bruce leaves WWE

I absolutely love some of the earlier episodes about Bobby Heenan, Gorilla Monsoon, etc. and the weird one that I think is the best episode they ever did, Houston Wrestling. That one, for the lack of a better term, is like an origin story for Bruce.

I wonder if Bruce puts Lex down for having a role in Elizabeth's death. That was the WWF/E narrative after her death. Bruce is such a Vince butt kisser, Lex screwed Vince leaving for WCW, he was with Elizabeth when she died and Vince probably had a thing for her, I'm sure Bruce will make Lex a scapegoat.

In fairness Lex was a piece of shit to her And Randy would have her locked in the dressing room so no one could get to her. But..."workrate" Randy was a better worker so he gets a pass. I was friends with Nikolai Volkoff and Nikolai himself said that Randy would have him watch over Liz in a dressing room so that no one else could get to her. He trusted Nikolai because he was an honest and good family man. Randy was insane. He would have his wife LOCKED in a a room by herself or with a trusted companion of Randy. But..."Workrate" so he gets a pass for how he kept his wife away from normal human interaction. Like Jim Ross said of Flair, Randy "gets a pass." Lex gets crapped on way too much because he didn't care about wrestling, just the money or so everyone says. Randy loved wrestling or so everyone says so always gets a pass. It sucks Lex was doing drugs while Elizabeth and maybe he did get her hooked on drugs but us male fans have such a high opinion of her that we can't accept that she was at a point in her life where she was willing to do said drugs. Also Lex, in the A&E bio says it was her choking on food, not drugs that killed her. Lex has also paid for his crimes against the wrestling purists and in being in a relationship with Elizabeth during her death. He's at a point in his life where he needs to be forgiven by the fans.

Na its probably because he was a wife beater and she died while she was with him

Today's episode is on the Legion of Doom.
According to Bruce, it was Hawk's idea to go through the angle where he would show up drunk and not able to compete in matches. Not sure if I buy that one.

So i've been doing an Attitude Era rewatch and after each ppv i'll listen to this pod if they have covered it.man Bruce doesn't half make shit up.he contradicts himself constantly on the same subjects.not big subjects but they are different all the time depending on when the pod was recorded.he must forget that he's already given a different version on the exact same subject.
I used to love the early episodes of this show but honestly he's just making up most of it as he goes along

Bruce was THERE!! hahah To give Bruce the benefit of the doubt, I don't think he goes back and watches a lot of these shows to jog his memory. I wonder if that would help? Are any of the RAW or PPB episodes that used to be watch a longs any better or they're all the same? I found the first 10 episodes, Bruce and Conrad were finding their groove, then they found it and around the first 50-60 shows they did were 5 stars. And then I'm not sure if Bruce got tired of doing shows, or he got hired back by WWE or what happened, but the magic was gone. I still listen religiously and find Bruce entertaining but I'm not sitting there Friday afternoon at 12pm waiting for shows to drop anymore like I used to.

Yeah totally agree.as you say first 50/60 episodes were gold, maybe even more.soon as he went back to the wwe it went downhill.Bruce would always stick up for wwe decisions but even more so when he went back.then it got really bad when he just sounded like he wanted to be anywhere else except recordin the pod
