HHH in the original DX, he played Shawn's degenerate henchman encouraging his antics while I believe behind the scenes he was the clean living one who's job was to babysit HBK and ensure he was sober and conscious enough to get from A to B.

Adam Cole is a legit gentleman to meet outside of the ring. Completely opposite to his arrogant character This times a million. Adam Cole is so humble and soft spoken, it's humorous that his biggest pushes in wrestling have come from him telling wrestlers to suck his dick.

Santino Marella. I met him in August, he sat quietly and listened while the guy running his autograph table talked with the woman in line in front of me. When I made it to Santino's table, we talked briefly and he was very nice, but very quiet and calm. A couple hours later, he was at ringside for a match as bonus referee, and was running around, doing his usual antics. It was bizarre, haha.

Scott Levy is such a witty yet goofy guy in every shoot interview; wholly different from the bitter and angsty Raven character. I do love him consistently referring to the late 90's as "The Forgotten Years" due to his substance problems. Also, onscreen Raven treated Steve Richards terribly. This was also the case off-screen for a time, though nowadays, he's pretty glowing of Stevie and says that a lot of his shit treatment he got in ECW was people being jealous of him, himself included, for his natural talent and youth. He seems to have a lot of humility in his sober times for how much he wronged some people. HHH in the original DX, he played Shawn's degenerate henchman encouraging his antics while I believe behind the scenes he was the clean living one who's job was to babysit HBK and ensure he was sober and conscious enough to get from A to B. I've come to think that DX even being an onscreen thing was in part so Shawn would effectively have an understudy built up to replace him if Vince had enough of Shawn's shit.

I guess we can now add Shad Gaspard to this list. Character plays a thief who steals stuff. IRL, actually stops robberies.

I'd count Bobby Eaton. Most of his time spent as a heel, cheapshotting people and being a dick, yet almost universally, if not entirely, considered a good guy. Like, Molly Holly levels of good dude.
Speaking of Molly, she played a judgmental prude, yet was very nice, as well as partially training Trish and some other peers, so she was very happy for the success of her supposed rivals.

You mean you never saw that promo he cut in Memphis about having to oral pleasure the bookers to get a push?

Oh, yeah, The Miz. Total douchebag character, could NOT have been a sweeter guy when I met him. Really funny and personable.

From what I've heard, Vader. Onscreen character: big, loud, scary, unstoppable mountain of a man. Offscreen: soft spoken, sensitive gentle giant who was reduced to tears when Shawn Michaels berated him for being too stiff with him.

Oh, yeah, The Miz. Total douchebag character, could NOT have been a sweeter guy when I met him. Really funny and personable. I like how people get worked up by wrestlers on social media by buying into their personas. Steiner is very quiet in the candid videos I've seen of him, not the loudmouth funny stereotype character we've all seen on TV who fat shames people like Samoa Joe. At the end of the day none of it's real and the whole "He looks like a world class athlete who can kick anyone's ass" thing holds no merit in a post modern sports entertainment. Wrestling's been goofy since the 80s, there has never been legitimacy (only in some cases like WCW and their buildup of Goldberg, that was unique, but they were still a very sports entertainment company that had gimmicks like Glacier, Seven, and others). Miz didn't believe anything he said to Bryan in that infamous worked shoot promo on Talking Smack because the WWE locker room is more of a brotherhood these days and Miz probably bit off of the anti-smark rhetoric out there to make that segment special and it worked. Super nice and smart guy from the people I've talked to that have met him. The guy has a heart of gold and like other superstars, has done Make A Wish work. I know Hunter doesn't care for him because Mike wasn't a student of the game and was a mark who got into the business (He really wasn't a dumb MTV kid like everyone made him out to be, he was a WWF fan and was once a Juggalo so people should cut the whole "he was privileged" thing out, the guy obviously had or knew some poor friends in his life to have had to be a Juggalo) who later grew into his role, but Miz is definitely worthy of a 3 disc set. I used to think he was a scrub, but after hearing about his growing up and JBL being a massive dick to him and to see where he is now, the guy is an inspiration. He may not be a work rate guy (like what the smarks want) or a hoss (like what the anti smarks want), but he got to accomplish his dream and even lost teeth in the process. He also got Maryse and has a promising future as a B list celeb for when he retires, he's a badass superstar regardless of his jerkish on-screen personality. It kind of is good that Miz is a mark for himself because most guys today are generic and don't market themselves. He takes care of himself and has had great taste in attire/entrance gear which is more than I can say for a lot of the other guys. He's probably the greatest midcarder of this generation.

Funny thing about Miz with me is, having watched his Real World season (last meaningful season, in my opinion) and seeing him on the Challenges, all I think of him is as the dorky nice guy. Just wants to have fun and make friends.
I still want somebody to make a "Miz Fears Coral" sign.

Most forms of Steven/William Regal: A pompous, upper-class, posh-speaking snob from the rich streets of some town. The reality. A down to earth, common as muck, working class son of a builder from Codsall.
