Brainbuster is actually not as dangerous as it looks. I took it once, and basically only felt a very light tap on the head as I landed. Did it myself a few times as well, and none of the guys who took it was hurt. Alabama Slam can be pretty nasty. Also, the backdrop driver, where you land on your head/neck/upper back.

Barry White Driver, Steenalizer, Steiner Screwdriver, all Psycho Driver variations, Quiet Storm's Cradle Driver, Eric Young's Piledriver, Quackendriver, Tiger Driver 91, (pretty much anything that ends in Driver is gonna be dangerous), and basically everything Teddy Hart used to do. The Ganso Bomb takes it for me though.

Does anybody remember the Vertebreaker from Shane Helms? That looked brutal to me.

A brainbuster is pretty sick. Not talking about the ones some commentators call it where it's basically a suplex and they land more on their upper back than their lower back. I mean the one where someone is being held up in a vertical suplex and is dropped straight down on their head. Not sure how anyone is meant to be able to protect themselves or their opponent during that one. It's really just part of the illusion. I've never been on either end of it, but I've seen it being taught. It looks brutal as hell, but, unless it's horribly botched, it always winds up as a shoulder bump. One of the better ones I've seen... www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DDRofDVMFYAs a kid, I thought Koko was just snappin' necks and cashin' checks with that move.

Especially when it usually came right after the most devastating looking missile dropkick to the face. I remember Jesse Ventura would always claim how Koko was a sadist because he would come out with a bird and dance and then nonchalantly try to maim people.

There are a lot of moves from Japanese wrestlers that look dangerous, like the one that is called the Hangman's DDT in Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy. Also, the Burning Hammer looks really unsafe. The Hangman's DDT/Ganso Bomb is ridiculous, but the only time it was done as bad as it looks in the AKI games was due to Kawada (the one giving the move) breaking his forearm ~40 minutes earlier, and literally couldn't drop Misawa any other way. The few other times it was done, it was more of a controlled, but still absurd, piledriver. Well it was based off the original Powerbomb... which was a really messed up Piledriver.

Isn't that a chicken/egg thing, though? The move was a happy botch that the commentary team called the "Originator Bomb" because it looked like Thesz's powerbomb, and then Kawada kept doing the move in a much controlled fashion.

Powerbombs in general. I'm pretty sure it's the move that has injured more wrestlers than any other.

I remember Jesse Ventura would always claim how Koko was a sadist because he would come out with a bird and dance and then nonchalantly try to maim people. See, that one looks like a botch to me. The illusion of the brainbuster is that it looks like you're getting dropped right on your damn head. In reality, the guy who's taking it has their head and neck comfortably cradled in his opponent's arm, and the momentum of the drop is supposed to send his legs out, instead of in, thus reducing the risk of impact on the neck. That is most definitely not what happened here.

Double flip moonsault always makes me cringe.
Can't find a gif of it but the Rubix Cube Driver is brutal looking and you must have nerves of steele to let an opponent perform that move on you.
Also any time a fat guy does a splash from up high, anything could go wrong (Val Venis/Rikishi)

I feel like somebody, and I may be making this up, did a version of the Razor's Edge where he just f***ing spun out of the corner with the guy on his shoulders, and then just f***ing CHUCKED him whichever way he went. I believe Al Perez used that as his finisher

Powerbombs in general. I'm pretty sure it's the move that has injured more wrestlers than any other. Some of that is going to come down to how common powerbombs are. Many more powerbombs are done than something more exotic, so you're going to get more injuries. Still, yeah, there's a lot of danger of guys not getting turned around correctly, or thrown down too hard.
