Dude came out, looking like a HGHobbit, and laid waste to everyone. And the crowd thanked him for it. Best moment of the night.

It's pretty hilarious to me that a jobber who's never on TV coming out and just straight punching the happy-go-lucky dancing guy in the face straight after he had a match got one of the biggest pops the Cruiserweight division has had to date.

Main Roster talent mixing it up with the CW that's what everyone wanted. It was hilarious and Neville is good at not giving a shit he comes off more motivated. Yet again heels are better written better bullshit.

Merged the two similar threads, by the way.

The Cruiserweight Division wants to be this majestic, unique purple land of athleticism, but instead it's more like an awkwardly dancing Grimace.
Nobody likes a dancing Grimace.

That's Pittsburgh for ya. But beyond that, Neville looked like a badass, and the fans dug him before his jobbing and disappearance.

Actually watching this match right now and I'm dying over how anti-over both the Captain's Hook and the Kneebar are.
It seriously feels like watching Brawl 4 All.

Finally, we're seeing God's greatest gift to mankind aka Neville step foot in this horrid division to show them how it's done. Surely, Neville with his Peter Parker-like agility and Akuma-like diverse moveset will show what Cruiserweights in today's WWE can truly do.

Honestly given how the man looks like ECW-era Test compared to the rest of the division and he didn't do the Red Arrow tonight, I figure they're going to book him as a hoss.

Hey it's a reaction.
Make TJP and Swann into whining little bitches and keep Kendrick as the delusional and slightly off-center veteran.
And make Neville the ass-kicker of the division.

They're gonna partner him with his American clone Tony Nese.
Actually though, those two and Gulak/Daivari as an anti nice guys, down to business faction could be legit.

I think it just 100% confirmed the fact that the Cruisers aren't over because WWE books them on an island separate from the rest of the product. Neville, a guy who's been mostly a JTTS on the main roster, got a huge reaction just because he's ON the main roster.

People have actually seen Neville compete for titles and accolades like KOTR, US Title, IC title I believe too, WWE and Universal titles. He's been in feuds and even if he's lost a bunch and Main Event exclusive for a while, he's still pretty over. Nobody knows shit about these random short guys just having plodding matches with purple ropes, why should we care?

If they would compete in other matches against even lower card guys like Dallas, Axel, Mahal, etc., it would even be a step up for them. Because then they feel like they're actually a part of the roster instead of in their own dimension where they can only beat each other up and since no one has momentum, losing like they do makes it even harder to gain it...

Look, people care about Rich Swann. If you watch the matches he had during TJ and Kendrick's reigns, Swann considerably got the biggest reactions DURING the matches and was over with the live crowd at the second bell.
It's just weird how they seem insistent on making this genuinely charismatic Baltimore eccentric who was organically over into dancing-catchphrase-machine.
I wouldn't based tonight's crowd on the overall feelings of the division because, again, Pittsburgh. That said, the belt seems cursed to take away what makes performers endearing.

It's the MLB player coming down to the AAA team reaction. That said, Neville looked brutal af tonight. Meltzer has been talking about him being needed in the division since he'd excel without much trying because of who he is. Glad to see they're going in this direction.

Wonder if Kallisto will get plugged into it, too, at some point.
