Lashley. When he holds that belt it actually means something.

The only one I disagreed with was Monty Brown. He could've been a big star had they given him the ball.
Do you kayfabe, bro?

Tough, but I'm inclined to go with Angle.

Lashley. When he holds that belt it actually means something. Aside from the Hardy's, Lashley does feel like the last true star the company has. Him holding the title validates it as a top title. Lashley vs either Hardy should be a huge match, and built up over a lot of months. Seems it's going to happen next week.

I'm surprised by how many votes lashley has in comparison to how many people have gone against double J.
Lashley who was ecw champion and only amounted to mid card wwe act. Left to work low rent mma, never even getting a good fight. Who went to tna only because it was on spike with his low rent mma promotion. Accomplished nothing as a fighter and has been in TNA only during its very negative years.
Double j was a mid card wwf act but wcw main eventer. Debate that all you want but both of those things are a lot more accomplished than anything Lashley ever did.
Lashley is basically aron rex to me. Someone who had not lived up to his potential outside of wwe.
My answer is Styles because the man accomplished the most after leaving. They can say the guy who brought out the beat matches from Cena used to hold their belt.

Samoa Joe Biggest draw ever before Russo killed him. TNA never made that kind of money after that. Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Hold on there a minute. TNA actually made money.

Not their accomplishments before and after. Mike Awesome in my opinion is the best ECW champion even though his career went nowhere after that.

Samoa Joe Biggest draw ever before Russo killed him. TNA never made that kind of money after that. Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Hold on there a minute. TNA actually made money. 60 thousand buys for his match against Angle in Genesis and then later when he won the belt from Angle in Lockdown. 60 thousand buys twice!! TNA never even came close to those numbers again. Normal logic: Samoa Joe is our biggest drawing star ever. TNA logic: Let's have ninjas kidnap him and then dress him as a bootleg Umaga.

Didn't Barely Legal do 100,000 buys? And was ECW's biggest PPV buyrate ever? ...How have we ever considered TNA to be WWE's competition?

Lashley. When he holds that belt it actually means something. Lashley's runs are some of the only times I can honestly say that the TNA title didn't feel like a prop because a promotion needs a top title.

I'm actually surprised it didn't do more. But thankfully for streaming and buying shows on iTunes and what not, it sort of saved Independent/International wrestling. Frick I remember when I was ordering the first few ROH PPV's, the Canadian buyrate for Man Up was 65 people. I'M ONE OF THOSE 65 CANADIANS THAT ORDERED MAN UP!

Which lead to the Hogan administration f***ing everything up and convincing ole southern Dixie they should "challenge" Raw on Monday's.

Styles or Joe. They made the TNA title look like it meant something at one point in time.
