www.caulifloweralleyclub.org/2016-finishes-rip/I'm shocked to learn that "Principal" Richard Pound passed away last month, we crossed paths like 15 years ago. He was a Stampede Wrestling guy that did a week or two of dates here in Montreal. Great heel. 2016 took away some respected veterans for sure. Mr. Fuji, Blackjack Mulligan, Gypsy Joe, Outlaw Don* Bass, Mongolian Stomper, Frenchy Martin, amongst many others... 2016 is also the year where Chyna passed away, the unfortunate tale of a bright young woman who never could get out of the tail spin of problems that ailed her. From the top of the world where she once was, she had the most unfortunate and ingrate ending. In many ways, Joanie Laurer's story is a cautionary tale about the dangers of not being ready to handle celebrity and success at the same time as handling deep emotional and psychological issues. Joanie has shown us this was a bad mix. So a thought today for our heroes that are no longer with us.

Outlaw Ron Bass is still alive. It was Don Bass who passed away during September of this year. Also, from that list on the CAC site, everyone please be sure not to confuse "Evan Colder" with someone who is a bit more famous.

Oddly wrestling deaths did not overtake celebrity deaths for once. I think as time goes on, wrestler deaths will actually decrease by the year. Wrestlers of the past decade and a half or so tend to take care of themselves like they are athletes. A lot of them are drinking juice and playing video games after shows instead of snorting coke out of a hookers ass crack like the old school guys.

That website didn't mention Axl Rotten.
RIP Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, and Chyna.

Somewhere, I have Evan Colder's autograph. Wife got it for me at a Greenville, MS Walmart. "Is that Stone Cold?" There's like 3 people in line. No, some guy that looks like him. (I go to look at shirts. Wife comes over with signature on an Austin 5x7.) "I paid $5." My signature is worth more, and I give that to you for free. You need it to deposit my check.
