I don't have The Network, so literally Smackdown Live is all the WWE I watch now.

Guess WWE finally listened to Youtube and brought back the Attitude Era.

I kind of like that compared to RAW, which is still Stephanie's tabletop battlefield where all the pieces always play the same role, SDL is the Wild West, where everybody's bitter and angry and wanting to prove themselves, to the point of not only tearing each other apart, but also that everybody is FOAMING AT THE MOUTH to get their chance to tear DB, their (on-screen) BOSS to shreds.
You really feel like everybody is fighting for their spot and putting everything out on the line to get TV time, Big PPV matches, and title shots.

That entire show reminded me why I so greatly prefer RAW. Shooting for no reason, lousy booking decisions, and throwing in matches with the flimsiest of builds. RAW at least gets most of the booking right and knows how to build up feuds and matches.

Dat Superhero Sweater! I hope they reveal Daniel Bryan has finally come to grips with being retired, but somehow thinks that means he has to look and act like he's in his mid 60's. Rocking chairs, pipes, slippers, the whole sheebang. That would be amazing. He should queue up outside the arena hours before it opens every week. It'll be like Dibease posse but more orderly. I just realised queuing up before a place opens may be a British retired person thing.

Raw has "Cheer Enzo, he's harassing a married woman!" Raw has Sasha vs. Charlotte best of 1,001. Raw has Foley and Stephanie. Raw has a terrible face Rollins. Raw has "comedy" with New Day and The Club. Raw has stars people want to see in the main even, who are stuck tag teaming with Sheamus. To alter their former tagline, Raw is Whack.

throwing in matches with the flimsiest of builds. What had a flimsy build of the matches this week? Next week's tag title match, I'll grant you since it doesn't have anything at all to do with how the battle royal went and is just, "These teams matter so there," but for this week... Ziggler vs. Corbin - They have history, Ziggler won the number one contendership last week, Dolph has a tendency to take gambles he shouldn't between things like putting his career on the line at No Mercy and putting his SummerSlam title shot up against Bray Wyatt, and for months Corbin has been demanding a chance to prove himself and for a title shot. Harper vs. Ambrose - They've feuded on and off in various incarnations for a long time and Ambrose eliminated Harper in the four way last week. Miz vs. Crews - They've tangled plenty, got into an argument on SmackDown last week, and Crews beat him on Tribute to the Troops. Alexa vs. La Luchadora - Last week Alexa skipped out on matches with both a random jobber and Becky, this week Bryan punished her by way of putting her through both at the same time. Styles vs. Ellsworth - Been building for months. About the only thing you could argue was forced was Mojo / Hawkins and even then, it had some level of grounding with the Ryder connection and it's not like it was consequential enough to hurt anything.
