I enjoyed these segments but man what were they thinking. This had to be from the mind of Vince right?
I remember being sad when these segments ended, it actually made Josh Matthews interesting for awhile.

The single most disgusting things ever aired on WWE TV and I say that with no hyperbole at all.

Lunchtime Suicide could be the name of a Network show with TJ making sandwiches.

Looking back at these, I'm pretty certain that they figured no one was really watching these and they were doing it to amuse themselves. Like ,they had no bearing on any current storylines and I don't believe they were ever aired on television, only online. And WWE's online presence was nothing then compared to now (nobody's was really).
I enjoyed them for their quirkiness, I would compare them to a Mr. Show or Kids in the Hall skit. Haven't watched them 8n years but I have a feeling they would not be as well received today.

I think one was on PPV, and the reaction was so massively negative that they quietly released the rest online.

The best part was on an episode of Velocity after the entire series was over, Marc Lloyd referred to Josh as "Zombie Josh Matthews".

No idea what this is. Or is it the skits where the referee would try to commit suicide every week? Thats the only suicide thing I can think of from WWE.

Let's be honest, it was 2005. Vince had just discovered Jackass and was trying to replicate that the only way he knew how, by cranking it up to 11.

In their own bubble, they were just some weird black comedy.
In the scope of WWE, and starting a few weeks after Eddie Guerrero died? Jesus Airbending Christ, what were they thinking?

TIM WHITE THAT'S NOT WISE!
I'll admit my father and I were amused by them and would check for them weekly.

I wasn't offended by them (I'm not offended by much of anything) but the segments were beyond stupid. They were really creatively bankrupt in the mid 2000s. I'm not sure how my fandom survived this period to be honest.

Still, looking back on it, can't we at least appreciate Josh's fate in the final episode?

Certainly dumb, though I've always found it weird this is the thing remembered for being a super poorly timed death segment around the time of Eddie's death, and not when Orton used a low rider to blow Undertaker up on an Eddie tribute show. Think that was way more, "What the f*** is wrong with you people?"

It's hilarious for anyone who suffers from depression or has to explain to their kids what suicide is. Oh that Vince and his wackiness towards everything.
