It's not a good sign for his career prospects if it's "Celebrity" and he's "Some chap."

It's not a good sign for his career prospects if it's "Celebrity" and he's "Some chap." Apparently, some chap's name is Mark Rhodes and (if I got the right wikipedia page) he was on Pop Idol years ago. Anyways, if I can be arsed I'll record it and type up the questions and people can see how well their knowledge compares to the "celebrity".

Thanks for the heads up!
Edit: The Sky info has "Workd Wrestling Federation". Also the announcer just said it, Christ it's been nearly 15 years.

TV shows really do stretch the word "celebrity" to the very limit don't they?

They should just ask him a load of smarky ambiguous long form questions like why isn't the cruiserweight division connecting with the audience?

f***ing hell these questions are easy.
I don't think there's anyone on this board who wouldn't get every answer.
The only question that seemed to stump the guy judging by his face was the hall of fame one but then the quiz host gave him the answer by giving the answers height and nickname as part of the question.

Is this like that old Comedy Central show, Beat the Geeks? Reading up on it, no. Mastermind is a straight forward quiz, four contestants answer questions from the host. The first round, each contestant gets 90 seconds (I think) to answer questions on their chosen specialist subject. Second round is the same but with general knowledge, whoever answered the most correctly at the end of both rounds wins.

New Christmas game - Show this to family members that don't like wrestling but have some knowledge due to being in the same room as you in the 90s, I'm pretty sure even they would get nearly all of them.

Here are the questions he got if anybody wants to waste a few seconds.
WWE in the 1990s
1. Which entrepreneur, commentator and sometimes wrestler ran WWE with his wife, Linda, throughout the '90s?
2. What's the name of the annual wrestling extravaganza that takes place in spring each year, and features the best of sports entertainment with added celebrity endorsements?
3. Davey Boy Smith, who was born in Lancashire wrestled under what name?
4. Who was the first man to be inducted into the WWE hall of fame after his early death in 1993? He was 7' 4" tall and known as the Eighth Wonder of the World
5. What numbers, which refer to a book in St John's Gospel, appeared on the t-shirts and other merchandise associated with Stone Cold Steve Austin?
6. Who was known as the HeartBreak Kid, and eventually as Mr Wrestlemania, because of his phenomenal career, spanning 17 Wrestlemania matches?
7. What was the name of Bret "The Hitman" Hart's submission hold that he used as a finishing move?
8. Which annual event, that takes place every January, was won by Hulk Hogan in 1991, Ric Flair in 1992, and Yokozuna in '93?
9. Which belt did Chyna win in 1999 in a match against Jeff Jarrett? She was the first woman ever to hold the title
10. What is the real name of the champion wrestler, The Rock, whose signature moves were the Rock Bottom and the People's Elbow?
11. Which seven-feet-tall wrestler, nicknamed the Big Red Monster, was supposedly the half brother of the undertaker?
12. The Tag team that consisted of Hawk and Animal, whose entrance music started with the words "what a rush" were collectively known by what name in the WWE?
I don't think I even need to bother with the answers.
