I'm going to take out some of my regret over skipping RAW while it was here in Columbus by reviewing my recording of the main event match. I noticed something in particular with Roman which further explains what problems many of us have.
At one point, Owens attempts a kick, but Reigns blocks it. Here, he could have done a million different counters: single- leg, DDP-style discus clothesline, even an atomic drop. Instead, he chose the roundhouse uppercut. He continued to hit this several times during the match. Meanwhile, Rollins pulled off two blockbusters and a diving knee.
Maybe this is over-analysis, but it isn't like he's going for Most Improved Wrestler.
