People from the Mid Atlantic area. We already seen them during Total Nonstop Deletion. A number of those people are talented but haven't moved past the region for whatever reason. Bringing in the Bravado Brothers or Hollis and Skyler should be a no-brainer but this TNA were are talking about. Maybe they'll get the chance when Matt Hardy leaves to restart OMEGA once.

Depending on how Anthem runs TNA tapings from here on out, it could be at least conceivable that if Anthem starts running more TNA tapings in their home country of Canada, then Speedball Mike Bailey or similar Canadian workers who are barred from working in the US due to visa issues could end up in TNA.

Basically anyone in the NWA who's willing to drink the Dixie Kool Aid.

Arent Hollis and Skyler on WWE's radar? I seem to remember them getting a few looks in NXT. Guess TNA would be quicker but I don't know, until there is something in Anthem running things, I am not sure I'd want to blow that shot. Jason Kincaid Jax Dane Basically anyone in the NWA who's willing to drink the Dixie Kool Aid. Dane looks to be on ROH's radar thanks to his Texas ties and I think Kincade signed with EVOLVE.

At this point being on tna means just joining another indy. You won't get paid very much and you will be paid late if the check doesn't bounce. Forget about national exposure since impact does less views than static and CSPAN.

CSPAN has the most patient man in the world taking phone calls though.

Who's that guy from wikipedia with the fancy custom boots that's a meme? I would get a big kick out of Brimstone on TNA TV. Riot Control, too, and we're set.

Honestly, I'm surprised more GA/TN area indy guys aren't on that radar. Cory Hollis, Kyle Matthews, Chip Day, Ace Haven, CB Suave and Marko Polo, hell, even AJ Steele, old as he is still looks great.

Depends if TNA is going to bother scouting for talent again. If Anthem doesn't to start paying them for it--and if they want to run the company cheaply they won't--then we'll keep seeing guys mentioned on recommendation from whichever "big star" they're trying to keep happy, WWE/NXT castoffs, and the occasional ROH midcarder who got too big for his britches and wants to to somewhere where they'll make him a big deal.

Pfft TNA wish they could hire as big of a wrestling star as Brimstone. He is a restaurant critic, philanthropist, comic book artist, and has custom boots. TNA just don't have the money for this great man.

Honestly if I was a young independent wrestler I couldn't think of a reason to sign with TNA. 5 years ago they had a semi decent yearly pay, allowed you to work indies, gave you the ability to work with some legitimate superstars of wrestling and gave you independent dates as well.
These days you don't get diddly squat. The exposure is from TNA fan boys and smart marks who want to laugh at the little wrestling company that couldn't, they mark up the price on your independent dates and apparently they don't pay much of anything and when they do it's late anyway.
So, who can they get? Probably WWE midcard guys, NXT rejects and semi decent independent talent. Companies like WWE, ROH, Lucha Underground and Japan/Mexico promotions are going to snap up the true independent stars.

To tell the truth, though- The "big fish in a small pond" factor is probably the best reason for an independent standout to sign with TNA, and TNA will have that as big as possible. Austin Aries's career trajectory might be the best example possible of TNA's benefit: In 2010, Austin Aries's stock was at its lowest point possible. Ring of Honor finally got sick of all his bullshit and cut ties with him for good, he was too small and had too poor a reputation to latch on with WWE- even with being a voice in the WWE game that year, and Aries had just lost any hope of a big run. With it being down to "accept a life on the shindies or sign with TNA", he signed fulltime for TNA to stay national. As a result, the fact he was literally the best indy guy TNA had a chance to sign in 2011-12 inflated his stock to a much higher level than it should have been and turned him into a big fish in a small pond. Aries rose to the TNA World Title, becoming an uppercarder for the next few years, mostly on the back of "the indies rose up and he was the best they could do". He ended up a fairly good star for them and remaining relevant for years. By the time he leaves in 2015, his name's still relevant, only his stock's been artificially inflated by a big run in TNA. Within six months of leaving TNA for good, he signed with NXT- and within the year he's on the WWE main roster (albeit on 205 Live and/or as a commentator.) That factor alone says that there's a value for indy talent: The can't miss prospects would be better to walk far away from TNA if they can basically have a WWE contract the second they want one...but if an indy talent has a few fatal flaws that make WWE unlikely to want them, then them signing with TNA, letting the 'big fish in a small pond' factor artificially inflate their stock value- then cash out and get WWE to sign them once they've been built up by TNA is a shrewd decision.
