It was surprising to hear that the last VCR rolled off the production line in 2016. I thought they stopped making new ones years ago and what was on the shelves was just old stock bring cleared out. I was in a Walgreens last year and saw they not only sold blank VHS tapes, but blank audio tapes as well. Maxell 4 Life! I've seen them myself and part of me wants to buy a pack of audio tape. I still have a work tape recorder. Every time I got to Dollar Tree, I'm taken back by the number of products that I thought were long gone.

My 5 year old cousin just got a Stretch-Armstrong, on Christmas. First I was shocked that they still made them, then I laughed because it was easily his favorite gift. I had the same reaction when I got one, back when I was his age.

Love My Carpet. That was such an 80s product, I thought.
