There will never be a rabbit fight as intense and terrifying as this one.

He had a good innings. The film still scares me.

One of my mother's favorite books is Traveler by Adams. She's going to be devastated.

Watership Down - both the book and the movie - was a HUGE part of my childhood. RIP

Loved the book! Read it as an adult and found the Aeschylus quote use to be amazing. An epic book with great heroes and villains. Fantastic ending too.

Watched the movie as a little kid. My parents thought it would be sweet cause it had bunnies in it. Holy f***!

My heart has joined the thousand for my friend stopped running today. If you get the chance, read Watership Down. The film makes a wonderful visual accompaniment to the incredible culture and religion Adams crafted for the characters in WD, and is worth escaping into.

I remember in school, they were going to show the movie in 4th grade (or was it 6th or 7th, I don't remember) and we had to get permission slips to see the film (which everyone easily got). The film started and I remember thinking "Why in the blue hell did we need permission slips for a cartoon", and then while continuing to watch it, I saw why. Loved that movie....
RIP to the man who wrote such a great book that was made into a great film. Also, go watch Plague Dogs as well.

One of my favourite books. General Woundwort was such a great villain. I liked the ending where they mentioned he'd become a sort of boogeyman figure of horror to future rabbits.
Also Plague Dogs is fantastic too.
