Indeed, if this tweet is anything to go by, they're doing great (even though they're nowhere near UFC numbers)... The concern is often based around the next TV deal, and how the falling ratings for RAW would effect that. Even past that, it also seems like there is a self-fulfilling prophecy factor to the concern sometimes about it. The claims for Vince taking the L at Wrestlemania was a good one: Huge profit, legit 90,000 people, most people to go to Wrestlemania ever, able to claim first six-figure crowd...the only minor L on it was that they could only get to an alleged 103,000 gate and not take the indoor attendance record back from the 2010 NBA All Star Game. But, because the show was unpopular with fans, biggest L possible. With those, it just seems like a lot of these worries of WWE being unprofitable are from fans who (not-so-)secretly WANT WWE to lose money and have their profits shrink, solely because if they do shrink then that'd likely mean WWE would have no choice but to go in a different direction from Roman Reigns.

As grating as the Roman Reigns Experiment has become, anyone who gets the non-stop "THIS IS THE ONLY IMPORTANT PERSON ON THE ROSTER!!!" verbal blowjob treatment from Cole and Saxton in Roman's place is still going to be a drag on the show.

It's freaking sad that your right. Making fans happy should matter just as much as the money but it doesn't and never will because most of us me infreakingcluded will still shell out money for WWE anyway. Even if we think the current product is shitty. Wrestling is so built on the nostalgia aspect that most of us shell out for the classic shit anyway. Like people that haven't watched WWE in 10 years but have the network to watch old stuff. Indeed, if this tweet is anything to go by, they're doing great (even though they're nowhere near UFC numbers)... The concern is often based around the next TV deal, and how the falling ratings for RAW would effect that. What's funny is WWE could be doing SO much more money if Vince weren't Vince. You can't measure gate or crowd attendance to me, the shows sells themselves. Vince is allowed to continually give the middle finger to the fans, and the fans actually bow to him for it. Yes the WWE makes money, but they could be making UFC money if they had any common sense and good leadership, well thought out storylines and not same day rewrites. Stopped the overly scripted promos that are horrible, not listening to the crowd even though you "always listen to the fans" as you mute them, and sufferin' succotash and royal sourpuss. Sparklecrotch. To say "they make money" in defense of Vince is absurd. He's actually losing money by not making as much as his company could. He's the monopoly guy, and the monopoly guy always makes money. It's not because he's good at his job, because he's not. In fact, he's horrible to the point any one of us could write a better show. To answer the question: Biggest L of their own doing: Paige Biggest L out of their control: Gallows and Anderson

You can't measure gate or crowd attendance to me, the shows sells themselves. No. They really don't. Its promotional tactics and groundwork. Something that Vince is still pretty decent at. Theres a reason Mania continues to be as big as it is. People say this and that about NXT and its writing but guess what? Its running at a loss and house show attendance has to be papered like mad. Its really dumb to say stuff like any fan could be better at Vince's job than Vince. Its ridiculous armchair quarterback garbage and Im not even a huge fan of the guy.

Zack Ryder, getting injured again kinda made his partner Mojo Rawley take an L by association. American Alpha ended up winning the belts, and you had to think that Hype Bros were set to win in their stead if Zack didn't get injured, Mojo has never had any titles before, and AAlpha has at least tasted NXT gold. I think Mojo is better as a singles guy tbh, but chances are it'll be a looooooooong while before he ever gets to hold a strap like the IC title (but a great fued awaits him against 2017 Miz I hope)
