This may sound corny or sentimental but finding this board is one of the best things that have ever happened to me. You guys are some of the best people I've ever met. It amazes me that in the world we live in where being an asshole on the internet is normal and accepted we have this little corner of it where we for the most part get along even if we have different opinions on things. You guys help restore my faith in humanity. We always try to lift each other up if we feel shitty. I came to FAN to find a place to vent about my frustrations with WWE. I found that and a hell of a lot more.
Y'all all kick ass in my opinion.

I concur. I love this place, and plan on being a part of this community for as long as it's here. The support I've gotten when I've come here to talk about various issues in my life over the years has helped with alot of shit. I love you guys.

There are a few forums I have frequented for several years but it's the only one I've stuck with and also the only one I came back to after a couple years where I stopped being active. I think it speaks volume about these forums and how tight-knight they are that it has kept existing through being a non-official fan forum, an official fan forum, a non-official fan forum again and then an official forum for a completely different site.

This place rules. I often lurk at other forums, but don't post due to the way the posters will talk to each other there. Everyone here is pretty damn respectful of each other, and most everyone here is funny too. In addition to our lives, we can also discuss out various fandoms without acting like a bunch of know it all fanboys with a stick up our ass.Its great.

Your post is the one that got me really thinking about this. Every single time someone posts that they are struggling there is always this outpouring of support. We're like really our own little family here.

It's hard to believe I've been here eleven years now, and that's not counting the time at EZBoard. It's been quite a journey, from the days of This Poster Likes Mustard and criminey jeeze, to being allowed to have threads for major news events that would have been locked after the first post. And while things are lighthearted and fun for the most part, we're there for each other when someone has a problem they need to vent about. It really says something about this forum that people are comfortable enough to talk about personal issues on a public message board.
I also enjoy the wide variety of topics; with a few small exceptions, you can find a thread on just about anything. If you want to talk classic wrestling, you can do that. Video games? Sure. Movies? Absolutely. The sexual orientation of Patti Mayonnaise? Go nuts.

This place is pretty laid back and I love all the joke threads.
There's another forum I rarely go on that's just way too serious and full of teens and young adults who think they know how the world works. Here? The members are older, but way more chill.

I've been here nearly 10 years myself, and this is definitely the friendliest board I've been to. The one(s) I left to come here actually have a rule that states: "People are assholes, get over it." That shouldn't have to be tolerated anywhere.

I've wondered about that, we don't seem to have a younger element here anymore. Are we not hip? Do teens not watch wrestling? Are we boring old people fuddy-duddy types?

I come and I go, in and out, depending on mood and need.
But to me, it's home. Good or bad, it's where I can find a shoulder to lean on, a kick in the ass if needed, but above all, support, faith and affirmation.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all.

This is my online home.
What I like from this board is that we have this steady group of regulars that doesn't change a lot. We get to know each other. Like after you had your latest, you came here and announced it, and it was community news, because you've been around a while and we cared.
And I like the fact that the age average seems a bit higher. I'm in my mid 30s. I like being around people that have similar cultural references that I do.
I don't expect leaving ever.

I have had issues with the place now and then, it happens, but I've met some of my closest friends here, this forum has genuinely changed my life.

I drive a race car, so I feel I'm pretty hip still. Granted, I've been doing it for 15+ years, so I'm not really a hotshot, up and coming driver anymore.

When I first joined this forum, I did so because I'd already been lurking the site for a while, and I figured I may as well join considering all the time I'd spent reading the forums. Even then though, this forum wasn't my 'main' forum, but since the forum that I used to post on all the time has considerably shrunk in activity (as well as some bad arguments involving some members of the forum) this place has become my 'main' forum by default...I still lurk more than I post though.
Speaking of which, while I find this forum genuinely nicer than most places on the internet, I do find it increasingly hard to express my opinions, so I usually don't bother. I mean, I've always found it a bit hard to express my opinions anyway, but I've become fearful of expressing myself on this forum as a whole.
I'm pretty sure I'm the most hated person on these forums anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter...
