I don't like the Thomas Jane Punisher for the same reason I don't like Bale Batman - they made the characters soft. Frank Castle in that movie is Santa Claus compared to most iterations of the character. Ray Stevenson was a far cry better, and both of them are left in the dust by Bernthal.
It's been so long since I've seen Lundgren's that I can't remember if he was any good. All I remember is hating that he didn't wear the skull on his shirt, and wondering why he was always showing his bare ass in a sewer.
