No because Jeff is big money with his old charismatic enigma character, at times his babyface pops and merch sells were besting Cena's. It's probably too late for Jeff to recreate that again but he would still sell a significant no of tickets and t shirts as the charismatic enigma but he would sell about zero as Brother Nero (or Willow) so if resigned which character do you think Vince will favor?

No, because Vince wouldn't get it, and Matt would be getting speared by the Big Dog in about 3 weeks.

Could it work? Yes. Would it be ruined by "creative" meddling? Yes. Would it be ruined then? Yes.

The problem with Broken Matt in WWE is that WWE has no interest in building characters. Broken Matt only works if he has the pre-taped segments with the editing and effects and nobody gets anything like that in WWE. Hell, there's so many guys on the roster who could benefit from pre-taped segments that flesh out their character or progress storylines, but they don't get them because WWE doesn't seem to find value in giving guys a camera crew and saying "See what you can come up with".

It works for TNA, that's it.. Matt Hardy would be back in the cruiserweight division with a gimmick like this.
I don't enjoy this Broken Hardy gimmick because i know they're capable of so much more.

Is Brother Nero even any different from Jeff Hardy in any tangible sense? They would just bring the Hardys in as they are now, but just not use the Brother Nero name (or just only have Matt refer to Jeff as Brother Nero) and it wouldn't change a thing from how they are used.

Jeff maybe, but Matt? I've always liked him better than Jeff, but he's long past the point where he can carry his weight in the ring compared to anybody else WWE has on the roster bar Titus and Mojo. Vanilla Matt isn't worth taking back, and Big Money Matt is fundamentally the same gimmick as the one Miz is rolling sixes with. Broken Matt is what has gotten him back on WWE's radar, and is his equivalent to Foley's "lovable muppet" incarnation of Mankind - a guy who can't go like he used to any more, so compensates with comedy spots. Is Brother Nero even any different from Jeff Hardy in any tangible sense? They would just bring the Hardys in as they are now, but just not use the Brother Nero name (or just only have Matt refer to Jeff as Brother Nero) and it wouldn't change a thing from how they are used. At this point I think pretty much all "Broken" aspects of Jeff's character are gone, so yeah, he's basically just plain ol' Jeff Hardy again... Itchweeed aside.

Given a lot of what works for Matt in TNA is basically everything gimmicky that takes place outside of the actual ring off site, you'd have to think he would be ideally suited to filming some original content for the Network. A Broken Hardys network show would be Cool
