I just saw some pics of Kurt from his speech, man it really captures how thrilled he was to be back. We never forgot you Kurt, and last night proved it to WWE. I'd be absolutely stunned if he isn't a GM or manager, if not wrestling, after that reception.
Also I said this yesterday but it's worth repeating, Kurt was gone from WWE for only 22 months less than Bret was after Montreal.

Not sure why they don't choose Bearcat Wright for this thing. He was the first African American to win a major world championship, though this conflicts with the history they like to tell with Ron Simmons. On the night of March 31st, it was revealed that WWE actually did choose Edward "Bearcat" Wright as one of the inductees of the Legacy Wing: Class of 2017. There was a Legacy Wing: Class of 2017 video that was shown by WWE during last night's Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Wright was the third Legacy Wing: Class of 2017 inductee that WWE mentioned in that video, but unfortunately, WWE refused to mention in that video that Wright had defeated "Classy" Freddie Blassie to become the new WWA World Heavyweight Champion on August 23, 1963. Edouard Carpentier won the WWA World Heavyweight Championship via forfeit on December 16, 1963 when Wright no-showed the event. In Wright's Hall of Fame profile on WWE's official website, WWE has refused to even acknowledge that he had ever won the WWA World Heavyweight Championship. In Wright's Hall of Fame profile on WWE's official website, WWE did mention his 8/23/1963 match versus Blassie, but WWE failed to mention who won that match. It's obvious that WWE isn't treating Wright with enough respect even though he's now a WWE Hall of Fame inductee. WWE is obviously pretending that Wright's WWA World Heavyweight Championship reign never existed. Last night, WWE uploaded the Legacy Wing: Class of 2017 video onto YouTube. Last night, WWE also added the profiles of all nine of this year's Legacy Wing inductees into the Hall of Fame section on their official website. In my opinion, WWE did such a very poor job putting that Legacy Wing: Class of 2017 video together. The video was way too rushed, not anywhere near informative enough and way too short. It's such a travesty that the video had a running time of just 3:46. It's obvious to me that WWE will always do such a sloppy job in putting together their Legacy Hall of Fame videos.

I'm just starting it now but if it's true there was booing for Goldberg, that's inexcusable. Whatever you feel about him, the Hall of Fame is not the place to do that. WrestleMania is where you do that, not when people are being recognised for their careers.

I'm just at the Angle induction and they're booing Cena and doing the "John Cen Sucks" thing with his theme. Such classy people, makes me wish they didn't allow the public in.

Vince's reaction to Rood junior Rood Jr might be one of the biggest missed opportunities in wrestling. It has been said he did try it and it wasn't for him, which is a shame. He has the size and considerable amount of charisma to boot.

Watched the ceremony in the wee hours since I couldnt catch it live, man what a buttnumber lol.
No qualms about any of the inductions, but some of the speeches were, dare I say it, blah?
Bischoff and DDP were both great and I think the first 45 minutes or so was the highlight of the show for me. I loved Beth's speech almost entirely and felt she nailed it. Cornette is like a damn evangelist and was completely captivating. The rest of them were pretty pedestrian for me. I was really happy for Kurt, but I felt his speech had too many gimmicks ultimately. Nattie was awful but I really dislike her so that may be bias (it isn't, she sucked).
It's a great event and its hard to criticize, but it really needs some work on the production side. The crowd also annoyed me for the first time ever during this event.

Personally in terms of the crowd reactions I tried to be respectful. Clapped for pretty much everyone, including some of the Legacy inductees who I know absolutely nothing about, to the point my hands are sore now. Really only negative thing I did personally was I joined in on the, "John Cena sucks!" singing but that's only because by now I see that as just a sign of endearment.

It really did look like a term of endearment at this point with how happy everyone was when they panned to them. It's pretty much Cena's You Suck chant at this point.

What a Hall of a show.
The class was amazing, but the speeches, great as they were, had me thinking about how many MORE need to be in the Hall. RNR had me wishing for Cornett and the Midnights going in, Rude had me wishing for one night, he could be back with us so we could have his speech. And Jim Johnson needs to be in the Hall. Beth had me wishing for Chyna, Molly and, biggest for me, for finally enough is enough and it's time for a change. Teddy had me wishing for Doom in the Hall.
Then there's Kurt. My God, I'd forgotten how much I'd missed him. And how lucky I've been to see him wow a crowd live as well as on TV. Make no mistake, including Rock and Austin, that man was the most over guy on the roster during the Attitude Era. Most may have chanted You Suck in time with the music, me, with tears in my eyes, I just chanted "You're Home." And him saying "That's everyone I can talk about." is as close we will ever get to a tip of the hat to Lord Voldemort in the WWE as well.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the entire class of 2017 for reminding me why I love this crazy business.

Just a few thoughts- I'm crying a little bit at Kurt's speech. He's one of my all-time favourites and he looked so happy to be there. I'm so pleased for him. Good for Beth for mentioning Chyna and her phenomenal glass-ceiling shattering life. Credit to her for allowing a pause for people to cheer for her. I had never heard of Eric Legrand but what an amazing guy. Really interesting speech.

I went to bed, during Teddy's speech, so, I will start from there, and finish it. The show was very good, aside from the booing.

I did kinda gag when Dana Warrior mentioned "The Man" in her speech and it cut to Triple H. Ain't that the sad truth?

I hated how Angle, like Sting, totally ignored TNA. They both slaved for years there, you figure at least a mention to those (AJ, Nash, Joe etc..) would take place

Just finished watching. It was nice to see Teddy and Kurt having a blast like I said, aside from the booing, this was one of the better hof shows, I've seen.

The Roman booing made me want to throat-punch people. There's a time and a place, and the HoF is neither. Assuming he wouldn't have a stroke dealing with higher-ups in Stanford, Cornette could be an asset for NXT to come in from time to time.
